That's in just WV. It be great if it was nationwide.

I saw another poll awhile back that had something like 40%, don't recall where though.

There hasn't been much done, AFAIK - but I think the never Hillary movement is stronger than the media gives it credit for.

Anyway Obama vs Hillary didn't really mean anything except he was black and she's a woman. Both of them are the same old shit rank-and-file Democrats. Bernie is at least something completely different.

And socialism appeals to young people who don't really pay taxes and don't figure they will be on the hook for any of this anyway.

I like universal healthcare, college plan kind of sucks dick because everybody gets it for free while I still pay off these loans.

But otherwise Bernie's cuck levels are off the charts. This bastard gets wrecked by a few BLM activists and he wants to bring back deported illegals and give them free college.

I'd pay higher taxes under Bernie in exchange for slightly lower student loan interest. While watching the country get burned by the globalist agenda.

But I would be if I sang songs for drunks at put in bay?

Actually yes. And I'm not insulting your profession, it takes brains and ability and I have said often I have a great deal of respect for you.

But for the Lion's Share of your life your parents, who I assume are very nice people, gave you a place to live fed you, took you to the doctor when you need it to go, pay the electric gas and internet bill, possibly hook you up with a ride and made sure that your schooling was paid for.

And that's not an insult, many of us did that.

As far as singing songs to drunks at Put-In-Bay?

I took a talent that I have and earned a living for 50 years.

And just for the record I could lose that job any day. For any reason. Not to mention that there's no minimum wage and there are always a dozen kids trying to get my job.

Dang, Steve - they have tenure in your business?

Insults to people's careers just seems so low, I wonder

why it keeps happening..

Ok, but why does that matter?

Yes, I have only been "financially independent" for a short period of time. But I am now. I make a damn good salary for my age and I've always been pretty money conscious. Does my opinion not count on economic matters because I'm young? Is it just assumed I can't comprehend planning for the future, or is it assumed I still live off of my parents, or what?

You said "someday" at the end of your post. Why? I am responsible for all of this now. Not someday. I don't lean on my parents for any of what I have right now. Yes they were they incredibly important in getting to where i am today and yes they are there if I ever need there help.

Slighting my opinions because I am young is lazy. It is always lazy. Make an argument, present some facts, don't just say "you'll understand when you're older" bullshit.

(also, I worked in a wine bar for two years. A lot of people that don't realize what wine does to them. I hate drunks. Serving them sucked, performing to them could be even worse.)

Not trying to put you down at all Woody, but time IS the greatest teacher. I know exponentially more about life and the way the world works than I did at 23 (I'm guessing on your age.. something around that) and I am only 29 now. I now realize that in 5 years I will know so much more than I do now, and it is all because time and life experiences are the best teachers. You know (especially as an engineer) we are never done learning, and I think that is the point he is trying to prove, but I could be wrong.

You say that, but I'm 30 and I know a lot more than I did at 29, and you know, the world is a lot simpler than people think. I guess you'll understand when you're older ;)

And I'm not saying experience means nothing.

I'm saying use that experience to craft a reasonable argument instead of just saying "I'm older than you so there."

Nothing is free. Someone pays for it, like taxing the fuck out of people.
