From what the article is describing, this is about the United Methodist Church having a debate on whether their specific denomination will recognize and tolerate same-sex marriage from its parishioners; it is an internal church issue within their own congregation and Obama or the government has zero to do with it. He isn't even mentioned once in the article, which is rare for a Blaze article.

I'm a firm believer in the separation of Church and State, so i'm not entirely sure why there even is an "Advisory Council on Faith Based Neighborhood Partnerships"; it sounds like one big load of bullshit to me. But as far as I know, the Appointment's Clause from Article II, Section II of Constitution applies only to principal officers such as Cabinet Officers, Ambassadors, Supreme Court Justices, etc; in this case, this office constitutes an inferior office, and appointments to it are at the discretion of the President, so legally, Obama can appoint whomever he wishes to this office.

This shows why zero tolerance policies, in general, are absurd. The picture clearly shows that the bubble gun is in no way, shape or form designed to resemble a firearm. The school district should be ashamed of themselves.
