I know people who want to move to Oregon from WA because they feel Oregon is more conservative, at least more than WA. I dunno. Weird story. I probably need to look this up to get the full story though as it definitely feels like the Blaze is leaving out a lot

After reading the story, I know exactly why that legislation exists. We have something similar im WV. Nursing homes and their docs got tired of being sued for abusing the elderly so they poured money into politics and got laws passed to protect them.

 

If an elderly person can't reasonably explain their injuries to the authorities, the family can't sue.
