Before LeBron James, who was considered the best basketball player to come out of Akron St. Vincent/St. Mary High School? 2. Which team in each of the 4 major sports has won the most championships: Baseball: Football: Basketball: Hockey: 4. Which team in each of the 4 major sports is the runnerup in winning the most championships: Baseball: Football: Basketball: Hockey: 5. A. Who won the very first World Series...1903?: B. Who won the very first Stanley Cup playoffs...1915? C. Who won the very first NFL title...1920? D. Who won the first NBA title...1947? E. Who won the first ABA title (merged with NBA)...1969? F. Who won the first AFL title (merged with NFL)...1960? G. Who won the first WHA title (merged with NHL)...1973? 6. Who won the last WHA title before the merger with the NHL...1979? 7. Who won the last ABA title before the merger with the NBA...1976? 8. Who won the last pre Super Bowl AFL title? 9. A. Who won the first MLS title: 1996 B. Who is the current MLS champion? 10. There are 124 franchises in the 4 major sports (not including the new Las Vegas NHL team announced yesterday). The Browns last won a title in 1964. Twelve (12) franchises have been around and have gone longer without a Championship than the Browns have. Name those 12 teams. Who won the first NBA title? 6. Who won the last WHA title? 8. A. Who won the first MLS title B. Who is the current MLS champ? 10. Besides the Cubs, Indians, Kings, Lions, Hawks, Vikings, Tits/Oilers, and Chargers, what other teams have waited longer than the Browns to win a title.. 4 more names.
