Westside Steve
Didn't the Obama Administration just raise the prime rate which would lead directly to higher mortgage rates but also higher interest rates on bank accounts? WSS

MLD Woody
Bummer since I'm looking to buy my first home soon. But it doesn't seem like a ton of money.
Westside Steve
By the way I finally put my father oh, and our family childhood home on the market. Received two offers the first week 1 + FHA and one standard mortgage. My real estate agent suggested we take the regular mortgage because FHA includes a stack of government regulations that would have forced me to add another five or ten percent to the sale price. So there's that. WSS
DieHardBrownsFan
I bought a house recently with a VA loan, got an extremely good rate and the seller pays most of the closing costs.
