The Republican-controlled House voted 235-180 in an apparent effort to improve gun ownership under President Trump. I "think" the issue was that the law was too vague and allowed the govt to theoretically take guns away from people collecting SS or have someone else paying their bills because they're out of a job or have an illness/injury etc, etc. And there's some validity to that. We talked about this in a thread weeks ago. It potentially allowed the govt to confiscate your weapons for things like getting old. This obviously had Cal hopping on one leg he was so mad.
