That is of course the truth. What's unfortunate about politics is that too many on the right merely want to block Obama from attaining his legacy. And it's clear that those on the left just want a program with his name fully realizing that it's terrible and when it collapses they plan to blame the Republicans.

Probably doesn't matter because as self-sufficient Society continues to crumble in the United States I doubt that socialized medicine is very far away. And, compared to a we have now, it will suck but people then won't know the difference.

We forget how quickly Empires rise and fall especially in the postmodern world.
