Rucker and Hall? Must be some starters absent or not participating ... not that I wouldn't love to see those guys brak through.

OconRecon
Agree its a little weird. There must be some guys not doing workouts this week. Voluntary, etc.
YtownBrownsBacker
Lewis, Robaire Smith, Heiden and C. Williams were sitting it out. Also, no rookies included in the first unit because they must earn their stripes. Also, Tucker was taking snaps at RT and Womack at RG with Hadnot who was taking snaps at RG, LG. Some of the new guys, like Royal and Furrey don't have the offensive terminology down yet, so Rucker and Patton took snaps with the first unit. The right side of the line was being moved around for 3 days, so don't put much into Womack at RT. Things will look a lot different once they get to the mandatory minicamp. YtownBrownsBacker
surprised to see Steinbach splitting time with Hadnot Everybody was splitting time and some guys didn't even participate. Just like Quinn split time with Anderson, Womack took snaps at guard and Tucker at RT. Some of the new guys don't have the new terminology down yet so they were behind. Bowens saw a lot of time with the first guys as did Adams and Ivey on defense. Steinbach isn't as secure in his job as some may think. He has a big salary and is always dinged up and the excuse for him was that he had to protect Fraley. I think he could be one guy that better be looking over his shoulder. BTW, Mangini doesn't move rookies into the first unit until the pads go on and they earn it.
Sez.EJ
Pork Chop at Right Tackle. I didn't see that one. But I like it. Tucker starting somewhere... I like it, guy is tops in my book.

At this point is is pretty futile to read much in to depth charts. Come Aug. 10, then it begins to become pertinent.

Sez.EJ
I agree that I don't want to see Patten win the #2 spot. If he does... It does not say much for the other guys. Anyone other than him. Patten is a #4,5 guy who can produce in a pinch. But he is not the guy you want starting. . I think steptoe is gone.. unless the cribbs thing turns ugly.. He is too small, runs crappy routes and just isn't anything other than a body to throw out there in desperation
