Before you hurt yourself chest pounding, your team still hasn't won the 8 Pro Football Championships the Cleveland Browns won within their first 18 years of existence (46-64).  In fact, 7 of the 8 were already celebrated in the first 10 years.  When you guys were bragging about One for the Thumb - the Cleveland Browns had their sights on One for the Second Thumb.  Isn't that why Pittsburgh needed a Head Coach (Chuck Noll) that got his NFL potty training in Cleveland?   And guess where the Head Coach (Bill Cowher) who replaced Noll got his NFL potty training?  Let's do the math here, what program looked up to the other program more for solutions? If Jed Clampett can find oil - you can get this some day.  And when that day finally arrives, you will see the dynasty in Cleveland never had anything to be envious of in Pittsburgh.

And your creepy flirtation with Ghoolie almost looks like you want him to put on a pulse tight red Santa suit so you can sit on his lap and talk about the first thing that pops up.

You forgot to mention how the Steelers were everyone's doormat while the Brown's were defining the term "dynasty" and REMAINED a joke until Chuck Noll started juicing his entire roster to the hilt, a Rooney tradition at this point. Not exactly something to brag about.

 Since this has nothing to do with the Browns, you'd think a moderator would move it to another forum.

Is there a forum for threads started by people who say they don't care about this board and the "fukcing idiots" on it, but feel the need to try and garner attention from these "fukcing idiots" on a daily basis?

I AM a fan of the Steelers. Not when they play the Browns, but, because you idiots are all about tradition....................... I am a fan of Noll, Cowher and Bill Nelson.............. all Steelers. THink Bradshaw was the best QB of all time, certainly the best I have seen. How can you hate Swan, Blier, and the list of great HOF players goes on. As I said, for 12 years I relied on the people and institutions of the area to earn my living. Thanks to business in places like CMU, Allegheny General, US Steel Neville Islan, North Hilla Passivant, Pitt, Montifiore, PPG Allison Park, and more, I was able to buy a house, save money and build a nice living for myself.

Now, if some of think that Cleveland people are different, superior, and somehow special, then you are truly children. It is football, man. It isn't as important as family, friends, puppies, or any of a long list of schidt. Football is entertainment, nothing more. Honestly, I wouldn't go see the Steelers OR the Browns live, because I think pro sports today has very little life or humanitarian value.

The reason I never get upset or argue with you idiots calling me a Steeler fan is because there is nothing to argue about. What exactly IS your definition of a fan? I am a fan of Zepplin and Aerosmith....they both compete for airtime and fans.  SO, am I a Steeler fan? Fukck yeah, sure. I am a Browns fan as well. The two are not mutually excplusive. Only in your pea brains is there some honor to either.

As SH pointed out, I AM a fan of how they operate their organization.  So what is the big deal here? Oooooooh Ghoolie is a Steeler fan.... WTF? WHo even cares about this childish schidt?

LOL! There is truth to the rumor (started by me) that I am also a Broncos fan. But not Dallas, Houston or that other Texas U. over in Austin. Ironically enough I hold a Masters in SW (MSW) from that same University and really enjoyed the campus, classes and students I met there. But whenever they play A&M, (like tonight in baseball), there is no doubt where the real loyalty resides and it isn't in Austin. I don't have any problem with anyone who likes to follow more than one pro team as long as they root for the primary one when they meet the secondary one. If the Browns play the Broncos I want the Browns to win. Broncos have had their recent successes and it's time the Browns became viable again. I became a Broncos fan while working on a degree at Northern Colorado in Greeley where the Broncos held their summer preseason practices. They were free to the public and you could actually stand right on the sidelines as long as you did not get in anyone's way. I can't recall now but there may have been a rope just behind the bench you could not cross, but it was close enough to hear what was going on  among the players/coaches. You learn a lot about pro ball when you see and hear it up that close. That was the days of Elway being coached by backup Kubiac on the sidelines. I knew from watching those guys that Kubiac was going to be an NFL coach some day. He was the brains behind a lot of the wins Elway's talent provided the Broncos.

Thanks for clearing that up Ghoolie!

I've also  heard Tony Grossi (who is definitely not a Steeler fan) get bashed for is admiration of the Steelers organization.

You're also right about one fan base thinking they are superior over another.

Fans of perennial  losers who claim superiority over  rival fans of perennial winners just REEKS of inferiority complex...inferiority complex is also evident when they have to tell themselves that they're "the toughest fans in all of pro sports".

This doesn't absolve fans of winners however.

Fans of winners who claim superiority over rival fans of losers are said to be living vicariously through their team.

For those who don't know what "living vicariously" means...it means in this situation that just because your team is superior, you think you are superior....or because your team is tough, you think you're tough...or because your team is a winner makes you a winner...etc...

While the people are the same, as you say....there are very few that would put Bradshaw at the top of the list of best QBs ever.  Pretty much 90% would have either Brady or Montana there.  Another minority would have Otto Graham......who is only not considered now because memories have faded.

As for liking Swann and Blier......Swann was a very artistic receiver....but is a bit overrated when it comes to overall career achievement.  Teammate John Stallworth actually had a better career.  Its just that Swann had those "miracle catches" in Super Bowls.  He was a borderline HOFer who happened to make it because his team won 4 SBs.    Gary Collins actually had a better career but does not get a sniff.

Blier?  No one I have ever heard said they hate the guy.  He is a great story.

The reason I never get upset or argue with you idiots calling me a Steeler fan is because there is nothing to argue about. What exactly IS your definition of a fan? But,....the problem is that you use the success of the Steelers as a bludgeon against Browns fans, and OUR team's difficulties.   The Steelers have a good organization...but they have not been any better than the Patriots, the 49ers, the Cowboys. ANY winning organization can be admired and respected....even the Steelers.   Everyone has always said that.  But being a fan.....goes far far far beyond just having respect for what an organization does.

I mean....how can on not respect the efficiency and might and tenacity and organization of the Nazi War Machine...they were something to behold.....but that does not mean one becomes a fan of that entity just because it went about its business with aplomb. Obviously that is an extreme example....but the point is that one does not have to have emotional ties.....or have loyalty....just because an opponent  can be admired for its effectiveness.

I can respect the way China conducts it affairs....both politically and economically......but my ONLY loyalty lies with The United States of America....not some other country.

My ONLY loyalty lies with the Cleveland Browns.....not to the Steelers, Patriots, 49ers, Cowboys....or other successful organization..who are my team Opponents.

It is different with music.  As I don't really think that...using your example....that Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith compete for fans and air time.  I think they share them in fact.  Besides.....The Who and an number of other groups are better than those two anyway.;)

Again....and perhaps I am being naive....but I don't know if many people here get bashed for their admiration of another organization.   I know for example that Westside Steve admires the Patriots....other have said they admired the Packers.   I admire all of those.   But I am  a FAN of only one team.  Despite admiring those others I DO NOT wish them success....even though I can respect the success they achieved.  But, if one jumps the fence and goes to the point of wishing and wanting success for that successful organization....perhaps at the expense of the team that you are originally loyal to......That is when you become  FRAK...a FrontRunnerAssKisser.  That is when you become dispicable. And THAT is what many people think that Ghoolie has become.  Many think he has become Glommie.

You're also right about one fan base thinking they are superior over another.

Fans of perennial  losers who claim superiority over  rival fans of perennial winners just REEKS of inferiority complex...inferiority complex is also evident when they have to tell themselves that they're "the toughest fans in all of pro sports".

And....you see.....that is specifically what many of us see in many Steeler fans.  Many think that their team is successful....because of them.  They do not recognize that it is actually just the capabilities of the team's management that has brought them success. They think THEY bring that team success.  Of course YOU know better, right?  You recognize that the Steelers have simply been managed well....and that the Browns have simply been managed poorly. Right?

Now....to me....the test of a fan base is:   how do they react in seriously trouble times?  The claim by Browns fans.....or at least that mantra that you quote:  that they are the toughest fans in all of sports"....is because  we have endured what perhaps is the worst management over a 20 year period of an NFL team in history. And we have stayed strong in our loyalty to our team.   We have NOT Frakked off or glommed off....at least not most of us. And here is where we could have a comparison between Browns and Steelers fans.   We know how Browns fans have stayed strong in that situation...but we don't know how Steelers fans would fare if they had a 15-20 year losing skein.  Now...Steeler fans of like 3 generations ago withstood things......or at least the Rooney family did during the era before 1970.   But what about since?  At one point is did not look good....but that was also a long time ago.  What about now?   Lets test it, shall we?  BR goes out and you have 15 years of pure shite football.  Then we can see.

Okay,

The Masters is done and I am back into the swing of things.

So MISTER KNOW IT ALL................ I am about to deliver the WORST butt KICKING anyone has ever received on this board. Consider it an education. Painful? Embarrassing? Yeah, but nonetheless, and education. Let's get this show rolling.

1) Our slot host Debra, at Horseshoe is NOT a waitress. She focuses on only high rollers..........that would include my wife and I, mostly my wife, I am the watchman, ya know?

Now, for people may risk $200 at the casino, you are right, a slot /casino host is not going to give you much. However, as I mentioned, Cathy and I (mostly Cathy) hit more than $300,000 of hand pay jackpots in 2016 alone. Did we take all that home? Of course not, we put most of it back, but, somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 - 12% we DID keep.

2) To give you some scope of gambler levels, and what slot hosts can do.....As you will see in the jackpot photos, Cathy and I are 7-Star level players at Caesars properties. You can look it up since you are such a casino-google expert. Briefly, it takes 150,000 tier credits to reach this plateau. 1 tier credit = $5 of gambling, That means, to get to 7-star, you have to spin $750,000 worth of spins, just to get the card.

Now, I didn't say that one has to spend that much to get 7-star,  but one has to spin that much. We have already made that level for upcoming 2019. :-) (Great jackpot year already)

3) You shouldn't make an accusation or a challenge about something you know nothing about. Me sitting with Donald Trump? Quite possible! I have just launched a new water technology that is going to bring safe drinking water to hundreds of millions of people. You can go to my blog, or just pay attention to the news. You will learn about it sooner or later, whether you like it, or not.

SO.. here we go BACK TO THE MASTERS..................... YOU say slot hosts can't comp an Agusta trip? Really? Here is what they comped us, and ATTACHED is a scan of our invite

  • 2 Hotel nights at Horseshoe Tunica
  • Steak House
  • Socktail party with a great spread
  • Gift basket with all kind of gold crap and food
  • Laid out breakfast with an omelet chef
  • Limo Bus ride to the Airport..........................Drop off at the side of the jet................
  • Private Jet to Agusta
  • Limo-Bus ride to Augusta National....Sherrif escort
  • Passes to the finals, 2nd-row seats at the 18th green, 3d row seats for the jacket ceremony
  • 4 Masters folding chairs
  • A ton of Masters shirts, cups, tees, hats, towels, etc......Itinerary.thumb.jpg.a3cd71b1c9fe075f31221916dd8985a2.jpg
  • Return, the same way we came, like Kings and Queens.

So, everyone, you can still knock me over with a feather. I am so thankful for this beautiful day courtesy of Horseshoe and Caesars Entertainment. I am humbled, and will remember the day with Cathy for the rest of my days. We should have TBB annual Horshoe Casino day.

Enjoy the voluminous amount of crap I am about to post.

Winning At Slots - What Are My Odds? (Briefly)

What are my odds? Well, here you go, well over 35,000 in jackpots my wife hit JUST THIS WEEKEND. But hey, genius, YOU and your brilliant articles knows better.  Just ask yourself, when YOU go to the casino, how many jackpots do you see? You probably don't see them ever It would take the average person a lifetime to even see this many jackpots to take pictures of them. Plus, no casino is going to let you take photos of someone else's jackpots. These are all my wife's hits, you can see her player card.

So........................ I don't know where the hell you found your " information" about hitting jackpots................but IT DON'T APPLY TO US.

................... You want to hit? You play $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $500 slots. Play the small stuff? Yep. you never win, you feed people like us.

Better grab a lot of tissue pussy boy,  I got a lot more coming your way.

^^^^ Wow now that is one scary freakin' picture.

Looks like you had a nice vacation in Georgia I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves.

Now on things like cigars I know my business there. On casinos over the past four decades or so I've been in casinos in the Caribbean, on cruise ships (both mainly ripoff but fun to play). Been to Canada all over the USA including AC way back when when the boardwalk was nice, sad to see it so badly deteriorated plus now there are casinos everywhere including one 15 miles to our west and a new one going in about 25 miles to our east.

Then there's even the Cleveland area, Pittsburgh,  my old favorite track in WVA formerly Waterford Park now Mountaineer with all the games.

I remember some fun junkets mainly going to AC or the king of all gambling places in the USA Vegas.

BUT I have some questions on your recent big slots jackpots, you must have poured some serious jack into those machines to hit those numbers.  ;)

Oh well at least Agusta survived you.
