Since when is an emphasis on diversity good for a nation?

sure, it's good for globalism - and those who seek to own and control the entire globe's wealth,

like soros. And the point is the EMPHASIS on differences, rather than an emphasis on similarities - like being American.

Like being free - cherishing the freedoms so many other countries' citizens don't have.

But it is such a good sounding slogan...diversity is our strength. Maybe in a perfect world diversity would be our strength ...but we don't live in one. The democrats who now are for open borders were at one time (not that long ago) for border enforcement but now see a new block of potential voters who will keep them in power. Keeping power is more important to them than what is best for the country.

to me - it seems that for all the "victory"  we conservatives, independents, republicans without an establishment bent, gained

when Trumps election ushered in a nationalist type of identity,  the DAMAGE was done during the last 8 years from the divider in chief.

Tucker Carlson clearly states what we all agree on, but if for only a reset from the misery of watching what obama dismantled -

our nations SOVEREIGNTY .

Pat Buchanan is correct also saying what he did regarding our diversity  - but look whats been done to upend the feel good love your neighbor

attitude this country believed in.

I think this downturn started back after 2000 election when even then, the left just couldnt accept what was voted for in GWBush... (a reset from 8 prior years)
