Seems we have a ton of conditional picks that might not pan out.  So do we get those back?

Those? We only offered up one conditional pick in all our trades... the 7th that sweetened the JG trade to the Pats. Barring injury it looks like JG will be active for more than 10 games, so we'd keep it.

On the other hand a couple conditionals may be coming our way...

• Kess played this past Sunday, so that's at least one of the six games for which he needs to be active.
• Shon has been inactive for every SF game, so depends on the trade conditions.

Does he have to play.....or just be active for the Browns to get the conditional pick?

As for all these picks,  I hope that we can wait until like February to really worry about draft picks.  Even then, we will get what we get and it will just be a matter of what we make of those picks.  Obviously the Browns  have made chicken shite out of many of their past draft picks...including their very high ones.  So, give me a 5th rounder that can contribute  (like an Ahtyba Rubin) over a 1st rounder who is pureed crap.  (like a Mingo..and Gilbert and others.)
