We reported this yesterday and Trump has now made it official. A lot of the Bush honesty has rubbed off on him, so Trump may not be too happy as this goes along. OldBrownsFan Posted December 7, 2018 Author Report Share Posted December 7, 2018 Sessions did Trump a terrible disservice by recusing himself from the Mueller investigation. He didn't have to do it, he listened to the career prosecutors at the DOJ. If anyone should have recused himself it would have been Rosenstein and he didn't. Sessions should have at least insisted Rosenstein recuse himself as Rosenstein has huge conflicts in the Russia investigation as he wrote Trump the memo recommending Comey be fired and then appointed Mueller as special counsel when Trump fired Comey.
