Not that it's over the top or inaccurate but it can be misleading to atheists so they jump to conclusions. If the judge did not waver and remained firm in his belief that God spoke to him then, yeah it's pretty serious. Instead he took the wind out of your sails. He knew it was wrong and apologized to the jury. Robison reported himself to the commission after the incident, saying that around the time of the trial he was experiencing memory lapses, undergoing treatment for a serious medical condition and coping with the death of a close friend. Robison said his behavior with the jury was improper and out-of-character, and he recused himself from the sentencing portion of the trial. Sure... it is better that he admitted he was wrong... after the fact. It is a little concerning there are any judges actively taking "advice from god". I have to wonder how many do it without apologizing. But... religion... what are you gonna do?

I have a more "plausible" explanation.....homegirl on trial might have had info on him getting his pecker preened by some underage trafficked lolita. But, u know, blaming satan and shit is fine too...☕
