calfoxwc Posted March 11, 2019 Report Posted March 11, 2019 makes you wonder how we Americans would do if our grid got hit, and the demoquack socialists took over. Meanwhile, more members of the Ven. military are in discussions with the opposition gov to figure out how to switch over. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6793585/Venezuelans-turn-looting-Caracas-fourth-day-power-outages.html
OldBrownsFan Posted March 11, 2019 Report Posted March 11, 2019 Glad to see more and more of the military defect from Maduro in drips and drabs but it is a real shame they haven't deserted him by now in mass numbers. When Maduro is finally gone Venezuela should look at purging their military from these Maduro diehards and reward those who defected from him early on.

I read where maduro gave the ownership of companies to the military. I guess that was to somehow pay them? keep them loyal and corrupt?

If that is the case when Maduro is out of office those in the military who took the bribes of ownership of companies were on the wrong side of history and not only should they be purged from the military they should have their bribes taken away too as they have turned their backs on their own people for self reward.
