Border security might be that issue that wins him new voters. The dems don't seem interested in either securing the border or fixing the loopholes in our immigration laws. And I don't think Beto has as good a chance to get moderate Dems, independents and nevertrumpers like my sister as does Biden. And that is what it will take to defeat Trump. If I remember right Tex voted for Hillary too. For Joe Biden to be the great hope for the dems only shows how weak of a line up they have. Biden has ran a couple times before (this would be his third try) and dropped out of both races previously because of poor showings. I'm not saying Biden couldn't win this time.
