The Gipper
Of course, most of the Browns moves were actually done by trade, and not by FA acquisition. Vernon for Zeitler Murray for Ogbah OBJ for Peppers and picks Sheldon Richardson was the best strictly FA pickup.
Comeonman
“The Browns have never played in a super bowl, so this might actually qualify for the most exciting week in franchise history.” Fuck off.

The dumbass obviously doesn't know history.....and the fact that the Browns have won 8 championships. He probably doesn't know who won the Civil War. The "NFL didn't start until the Packers beat Kansas City at the Los Angeles Coliseum in January 1967" nonsense the NFL itself pushes must offend the shit out of the older players still alive that predate the Super Bowl. Does the NFL push it....or is it just media idiocy.

The NFL doesn't exactly promote the NFL history prior to Super Bowl. If the Browns ever won a Super Bowl, do you think the Commissioner is going to say: "The Browns have now won their 5th NFL Title!"? No, he'll announce to the world that the Browns have just won their first Super Bowl.

Orion
Dorsey has masterfully transformed an 0-16 roster into a playoff contender type team in a season and a half. (with a draft still to come) After taking over an 0-16 team, he knew free agents weren't lining up to join the laughing stock Browns....so on the first day of the league year he started trading for talent. (smart move!) Then, in the draft, he takes a dynamic, blue collar type QB who's had to prove himself every inch of the way to the top of the draft. A perfect fit for Cleveland. Then added a pro bowl CB, a RB that made the rest of the RB's expendable...and a speedy receiver (and much more in that draft). And NOW this year trading for probably the best WR in the game, he has given his franchise QB about every offensive weapon any QB could need. (and he also traded for a pro bowl edge rusher) AND VIOLA! You have a for real football team. --- Hey Shashi! Hey Ray Farmer! Hey Mike Lombatomy! -- Were you guys paying attention to the last season and a half!?
