It's one thing to say "the rich should be taxed a little more and we need to cut wasteful spending and redirect it to help the poor get off poverty by giving them opportunities to become successful on their own" vs "take from the capilalists, kill millions of unborn and BORN American children, cut up the military, distribute all the wealth equally to all, take all guns away" while having Bill Ayers, Dorn, Wright, Rezko, etc etc etc etc for friends and then ... Well, the masses have been manipulated, and the communist flag was waving at Osamabama's victory party. Meanwhile, some black kids in high school were heard saying they will now do anything and say anything they want to, because they have taken over. We still dont know who this guy is even after all this time. You still have idiots like Keith Olbermann on NBC ripping on Sarah Palin and John McCain last night even after the race is over. I dont know even know what Olbermann has to say anymore since all he ever does is come on his show and rip the Republican Party every night. The guy is mentally disturbed and is about as vile as they come. He can forget about talking about Sarah Palin and Bush now here because both of those people after awhile aren't going to matter they are both done. Palin lost she is going back to Alaska and Bush will be retired back in Texas come the end of January. So that means anything that happens here with the country after January 20th will be on Obama's head not George Bush's. While I dont agree with everything George Bush has done with the economy as far as National Security goes there has not been another attack since 9/11. He has stopped a total of 120 potential attacks since the tragedy of 2001. Can Barack Obama with his radical associations and terrorists friends like Bill Ayers do the same thing?? We are going to find out how he responds when something like this comes up. Because like I mentioned the media such as NBC and all the other left wing stations are not going to be able to come on and blame George Bush for things like they do for every little problem that comes up once Obama is in office. To me the most important issue for him to cover now is the elimination of the final minority, Rich People! Like it or not , black president or white, 10% of our population still controls 80% of the wealth, fat cats get fatter, big oil gets bigger, and the money machine rolls on for the final minority. Spread the Wealth Obama you promised. You literally just scared the shit out of me!!! I am not into socialism...and if that is the agenda I literally WILL find someplace else to live. If you do you only get to take half of your money with you, LOL, some free country we live in Oh and Pres Bush taking $700 billion dollars to bail out banks is socialism as well, one doing it doesnt make the other right. Zubba76 speaks more truth then alot of people are willing to accept and that bail out was proof of that. The bill failed in congress first so what happend? The next day every news source out there quit calling it BAIL OUT and started calling it RESCUE BILL, haha sounds better that way and they pushed it through. What a load of crock. Why is the party that's supposed to be the champion of the free market pushing for the "bill"? Because the Republican party (since Reagan) has always supported socialism for the VERY rich, because that's who's lobby they listen to the most, that's who pays for their national campaigns. Why are the Democrats supporting the bill? Because they're bought and paid for by the same interests. For the last 30 years neither the Democrats nor the Republicans have done ANYTHING to address the looting of this nation's wealth by our own elites. Most people don't even realize how we're being raped every day by the Fed, nor do they even know it's not a government agency, but a collection of private interests. Anyhow, before I get myself too depressed... I'd like to enjoy this milestone in our cultural development a while. I'm done with this thread. Please go inform yourself, that's all I will say. Even if Chairman MaoBama TAXES the living daylights out of the wealthy , they will still be wealthy ....and you will still be in whatever sorry state you find yourself in today . These folks who control the wealth, as you put it ,also control the corporations and the jobs in this country.They WILL pass these higher taxes on to the public in the form of higher prices for the goods and services they provide . The WELFARE check you get from Chairman MaoBama won't come close to covering the increase and you will fall further behind ....Socialism and spreading the wealth has never worked . You bashed "big oil" I guess, because Chairman MaoBama told you you should ...but Exxon / Mobil alone paid more in Federal Corporate tax than the lowest paying 60% of taxpayers in this country combined ..That's one corporation ..the top 10% of wage earners pay 90%+ plus of all the individual taxes paid ....The US already " spreads the wealth" ..Do you think your government benefit check (ie Welfare) check grows on trees ????? where can I get some of that Government cheese???? We need to start voting for one of these other 3rd parties that never get any time in the debates. I wonder why that is? Because the people running the debates are bought and paid for and do not want anybody coming in and breaking up their monoply. Sorry had to post one more time here. What else is new! --------------------- Sports examples (since this is actually a Sports board): McCain said (when campaigning in Pittsburgh) he named the Steeler's defensive line (as his squadron mates) when interogated by his captors. The "Steel Curtain" was not formed until McCain was released...they had a no name crappy D line then. He wished the "Browns" luck when he was campagning in Cleveland. Obama told Philly he was a Philly fan and Tampa Bay, he was a Ray fan when campaigning in both places I heard.
