VENEZUELA BANNED PRIVATE GUN OWNERSHIP LESS THAN A DECADE AGO

Venezuela banned private citizens from owning guns seven years ago, leaving firearms solely in the hands of the army and the police. Now, as the country’s opposition attempts to oust the oppressive Maduro regime from power, it is a decision some have come to regret.

THIS is why you don't allow your citizens to be disarmed, no matter what type of weapons they possess!

and why you never allow a foreign military come into your country as "advisors" etc.

Cubans and russians with maduro...... probably their biggest job is to watch for deserters and the military switching sides to protect the people.

“President Trump should immediately position American military assets to be ready to deliver aid to the people and defend freedom and democracy as well as U.S. national security interests in our hemisphere,” U.S. Sen. Rick Scott said Tuesday. “This is a fight against Cuba, Russia, China, Iran and Hezbollah who are all in Venezuela right now and want to inflict pain and torture on the people. The time for talking is over. It’s time for action.”

Bring back the domino theory - all of central america is ripe for foreign enemy ownership. And of course, they don't care how many actual citizens get murdered and imprisoned to pave the way.

It will be used as leverage vs us opposing them in the Ukraine and Baltic states, you betcha.
