Why does the left still fight the windmills of legal gun ownership?

I suppose it's because you can't intimidate and subdue a society that is armed. Historically, a disarmed society is

an oppressed society with no rights at all, a fearful society.   Antifa is the left's fear factor - be afraid to disagree, be afraid to speak out. Be afraid to rally in protest. That, and their determination to try to ruin the lives of anyone who isn't left. Like Pres Trump, his family, anyone who works with him, is friends with him....any supreme court nominee that isn't left, and anyone who isn't left/deep state.

   The deep staters are going after each other to try to stay afloat and out of prison. Should be interesting - the lefties in Congress are very, very worried, and on the attack.

  Meanwhile, the left is going insane with hate - acting out as bad as any leftwing movement can - on gun control, trying to warp our electoral process, declare war on conservatives, republicans, God anywhere..

   But their biggest battle is the biggest "windmill" of all (Don Quixote reference) - is an armed America.

Thank God our Founding Fathers knew from serious experience that Americans will always be armed. They will never win.
