Lots of places aren't even teaching cursive writing in English.

I think it would be a great idea for everybody to learn a foreign language or two at a very young age what it's easier. Probably Spanish French Japanese Chinese and Arabic would be useful.

it has it's upside. I learned arabic numerals in school, and I can tell a muslim terrorist in every movie I watch.

Even on the news.

Yes he does.  The current numbering system that has always been taught is Arabic in origin.

John Dick is trying to be cute too.  The poll is designed to trap you in making it look like you're an Islamophobe and stupid.

But only smart people like me realize that the poll could only mean the traditional Arabic numerals below. Therefore the answer is no, they shouldn't be taught. They are useless and serve no purpose.

No, not at all.

There is more value in learning algebra than Shakespeare.

Problem Solving skills and Critical Thinking need to be emphasized more. Being able to think Analytically.

To someone who's thinking is limited, like yours, who doesn't understand the value of learning Shakespeare that might make sense.

Ok that was funny, but foolish...Cal is about to take you out to the woodshed.

I had a professor once tell the class to obtain skills besides math (he didn’t discount the importance of math). He asked if we wanted to spend the rest of our lives in a room working on hard problems all day.
