Westside Steve
Lots of places aren't even teaching cursive writing in English. I think it would be a great idea for everybody to learn a foreign language or two at a very young age what it's easier. Probably Spanish French Japanese Chinese and Arabic would be useful. DieHardBrownsFan
Absolutely not. I don't want terrorist numbers being taught to our children. 1
calfoxwc
it has it's upside. I learned arabic numerals in school, and I can tell a muslim terrorist in every movie I watch. Even on the news.

The current numbering system that has always been taught is Arabic in origin. John Dick is trying to be cute too. The poll is designed to trap you in making it look like you're an Islamophobe and stupid. But only smart people like me realize that the poll could only mean the traditional Arabic numerals below. Therefore the answer is no, they shouldn't be taught. They are useless and serve no purpose.

LogicIsForSquares
Finance, economics, accounting, and statistics math were enough for me. Finance math had formulas that made it seem like you were trying to put a satellite in orbit to figure out division risk in a firm. The engineering math looks brutal. I had a professor once tell the class to obtain skills besides math (he didn’t discount the importance of math). He asked if we wanted to spend the rest of our lives in a room working on hard problems all day.
