OldBrownsFan
The way Barr has taken charge of the DOJ is what Sessions should have done but Sessions was inept and was in over his head as AG at the DOJ. I think that has become clear with the contrast of Barr now at the helm and how he is handling things.
OldBrownsFan
Speaking of Sessions: BREAKING: Attorney General Barr Discloses US Attorney Huber NEVER EVEN STARTED His Investigation — US Attorney John Durham Took Over His Work John Huber was the special prosecutor tapped by former AG Jeff Sessions to investigate FISA abuses by Obama’s DOJ/FBI. Sessions nominated Huber to perform this investigation after numerous calls for a special investigation into the Clinton Foundation and the Deep State. But months ago we reported that nothing was getting done. Mark Meadows (R-NC), Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Doug Collins (R-GA) sent a letter to special prosecutor John Huber on January 8th demanding answers by a January 21st deadline. “Your investigation has been ongoing for over nine months. During the course of our extensive investigation we have interviewed more than a dozen current and former DOJ and FBI personnel, and were surprised to hear none of these potentially informative witnesses testified to speaking with you,” the GOP lawmakers wrote. The Republican Congressmen then blasted Huber for being a no-show at the December hearing where Clinton Foundation whistleblowers Lawrence Doyle of DM Income Advisors and John Moynihan of JFM Associates testified. The Clinton Foundation whistleblowers, Mr. Moynihan and Mr. Doyle told the committee they had to send their evidence to the Huber investigation THREE TIMES because they kept losing it. In October, Congressman Meadows and Jim Jordan said they wanted to haul John Huber in before Congress to testify because they had not received any updates on Huber’s investigation. Now we know that it was all a farce. Huber did NOTHING! Huber and the former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, should be brought before a grand jury and investigated for their actions in obstructing justice. The American people are very angry about all that is going on in DC. We want OUR country back! We DEMAND justice! https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2019/05/breaking-attorney-general-barr-discloses-us-attorney-huber-never-even-started-his-investigation-us-attorney-john-durham-took-over-his-work/

This is one of the reports I referred to elsewhere that was not quite accurate or complete. Huber is/was working on two things, and did as he was supposed too. Now he hands the one (FISA) off to Durham (who's been working since at least early October). The Hildebeast items are about done, which I believe is what we're going to hear about from his report (Criminal investigation items withstanding) when he gives it. Sad to see Gateway Pundit come out with this, but admittedly, the interview/article is pretty long. At this point in time both Sessions (set things up) and Huber are fine, and have done what they are supposed to do. Continued confusion on this may be a good thing as it somewhat shields what's really going on.

I don't know why Huber wouldn't have told congress about his limited role when they were wanting updates from him and wanting some answers. Why did he leave them hanging without an explanation? It just seems if he would have told them what Barr said there wouldn't have been any confusion.

Ive been thinking back to the time when Sessions recused himself from the investigation process, (Jan 2017 I believe?) and the reason was? - Sessions himself had dealings with Russia himself (as a Senator) and one would assume that those "dealings" were official govt business? no harm right? could he have implicated himself from some past "money*" deal that might come to light had he stayed on that task? *bought and paid for establishment politicians

There was no reason he should have recused himself from the Russian investigation particularly if the reason was for conflict of interest as Rod Rosenstein was up to his neck in conflicts yet he never recused himself.
calfoxwc
huber was originally appointed by obaMao. https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/29/politics/who-is-john-huber/index.html it gets deeper and deeper. Huber was a deep state loyalist who ignored the whistleblowers on the subject. He sat on the investigation, thereby covering for the clintons and obamao.
