did you read any of the article or did you just cut and paste the title like a good little doggy?

Did you or you just running off at the mouth as usual? And of course. Third world shitholes aren't good examples of socialism but then again neither is Norway or any other tiny European burg with almost 0% minority population, no vast semi literate and violent welfare rolls, who also have a staggering amount oil Reserves as well as a completely different history than the United States of America. Not to mention having no military worth a shit since they depend on the rest of the world to defend them should the shit come down.

Sanders would be a disaster for the country because the buffoon does not understand how capitalism works. His policies would punish the successful and destroy incentives for anyone successful to build a new factory or hire new employees if they are only going to see themselves get punished for it instead of rewarded. The American dream has always been if you work hard and are willing to risk losing your own money there will be a pay off not a punishment.

Right now in Venezuela - they’re eating their own pets, munching on zoo animals and wiping their ass with their own hand.

Isn’t socialism grand?

“the examples of failed socialism that critics use are not socialist democracies, but authoritarian states led by corrupt, ruthless, and paranoid dictators.”

So you post the sentiments of a comedian, fine.

But little do Bernie and his socialist loving simpletons know is that they already live in a successful dictatorless socialist democracy. Thu, Jun 06, 2019

For twenty-five years, the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington, has put out The Index of Economic Freedom. Every country in the world is ranked from 0 to 100. An economy completely free of government intervention, essentially the “least socialist,” would score 100. According to the 2019 Index, the most socialist country in the world is North Korea, whose ranking of 5.9 is twenty points below the next country on the list. But the least socialist, or free-est, country in the world isn't the United States. Not even close.

The U.S. is way down the list at twelfth, with a score of 77. That's the same score as The Netherlands. It's just a fraction above Denmark, and less than two points above Sweden, countries that Bernie Sanders has named as his socialist ideals.

"Rasmussen acknowledged that "the Nordic model is an expanded welfare state which provides a high level of security to its citizens," but he also noted that it is "a successful market economy with much freedom to pursue your dreams and live your life as you wish." "

and this is exactly what the dem socislists want here. No one...not even AOC and Ying Yang...want the govt "running" the market.

we shouldnt be "nordic"...we should be whats right for us. Most people in this country want more collectivism but up to a "point". Theres things better handled through collectivist action and others better handled through individual. Nobody wants the u.s govt to make cars for example.....thats a consumer good. But energy production, healthcare etc,et. I would argue also food production needs looked at because capitalism has destroyed our soil.

whatever deals in finite resources should prob be handled collectively, because capitalism shits through a resource with astounding quickness and ZERO thought to future sustainability.

The title of that article could also be why Nordic socialism will not work in the United States. I know we need government but less is almost always better.

its all about "where"....not about more vs less. Ive been beating this drum for years. A rational society figures out where they can act individually and where they must act collectively. You obviously dont have an issue with the govt running the military....but why not a private company running off the profit motive? why not? profit makes everything better..its like magic pixie dust.

Our government has a dismal record of delivering on it's promises.."if you want to live like a Norwegian buy a plane ticket".

but u have zero problems trusting govt to run space farce i mean force. Because "your' guy thinks its good and govt is always so very competent when it comes to running things your side wants the american taxpayer to fund.

The govt cant run universal healthcare but lets not discuss the DECADES of misuse and outright frauding of the american tax payer by the military industrial complex. Thats neither here nor there.    right?
