Their motto always for years was they might not agree with what you say but they will fight for your right to say it. That is not the case today with big tech companies like Google, Facebook and Youtube working overtime to suppress speech they don't like (which is usually conservative)..and where are the left civil libertarians sticking up for free speech..nowhere to be found except for a few intellectually honest ones like Alan Dershowitz... To be fair, if someone is a libertarian than they feel those companies are free to do with their companies as they see fit. Free speech in a constitutional context just applies to government involvement.
