a big swift kick to woody-style Christian bigotry.

This took too long, I hope they get all their payments repaid.

actually, that's almost a legit point - except how can someone legitimately defend not serving someone over politics or religion?

The Christian baker has freedom of religion - it is a given if they had to prove that their religious beliefs would be contradicted in a major way by being forced to bake that cake.

It's a whole 'nother deal to refuse to serve someone because they vote differently; falsely calling it a religious matter is silly.

baloney - our Constitution says we have freedom of speech - and religion.

The text of the First Amendment reads, ” Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. ”

Definition of religious liberty. In the American experiment, religious liberty is defined according to the following elements: 2. Freedom of conscience. ... Religious liberty includes the right to freely practice any religion or no religion without government coercion or control.

Go find where the Constitution says it's a RIGHT to deny service to somebody over politics.

Is the restaurant owned by the government? If not, the constitution doesn't say anything for or against a private business choosing to decline service based on religious leaning.

the gov has no business forcing you to violate your spiritual beliefs because leftist activists demand it from a leftist activist judge.

the only hole is you, woodpecker. You don't add to any intelligent conversation. And even after you do live long enough to know your crappy tailfeathers from a hole in the ground, you would still refuse to learn it.
