When Trump talked about Obama appointed judges he was exactly right even though the big disappointing Bush appointed supreme court justice John Roberts seemed to take offense saying there was no such thing as an Obama judge. It is obvious the left believes in Obama appointed judges because they file their lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions in hopes they will get one. Just saw it recently where a Trump appointed justice ruled in favor of Trump on asylum at the border and on the same case within hours another judge appointed by Obama ruled against Trump.
