The law of unexpected consequences. 1 old saw from the left asks if we give methadone to heroin addicts for free why isn't chemotherapy free for everybody? That's because they come out with new and better forms of chemotherapy every year. It's constantly changing constantly getting easier on the body and costantly getting more effective. WSS I took some time to think on this... maybe, however, the increased competition would stop drug price gouging and excessive R&D charges.
