Al Sharpton after he was blasted on Twitter by President Trump, op-eds in the Washington Post and New York Times argued. Writing in the Post's Opinion section, Seth Mandel, executive editor of the Washington Examiner magazine, took the candidates, including Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren and Bill de Blasio, to task, saying their praise of the self-styled civil rights leader should earn them "a massive moral demerit."
