of course not.

2. Have you ever won $1000 or more gambling? Be it at a casino, or on the lottery or whatever?

nope. Won 60 bucks once, on an end of the row slot machine. Those tend to produce more to draw people in.

3. Have you ever won a Major Award? Or contest? (and the prize did not have to be a leg lamp)

Won the pinewood derby as a kid. lol

4. Have you ever won an Election? At any level.

elected treasurer of my fifth grade class. Well, you said any level....

5. Have you ever won a sports championship, as part of a team or individually?

Calfox Kosardawgs won the league my first year. I kept remarking "so this is how you play fantasy football" while Rich was fuming. LOL LOL

6. Have you ever received a Standing Ovation?

twice. Once, after being elected lifeguard for about 60 of us on a church retreat in the Air Force. I was lifeguarding, and one guy went over to the edge of the long dock. I still was watching everybody else, two friends sat with me, and he swam past the dock, behind us, into the no swimming area. I noticed, then he swam further, didn't hear us yelling for him to come back, and he then dove underwater. well, there were weeds over there, I was concerned he could get tangled up in the weeds and not get back to the surface. By one friend's watch, she said it was over 30 seconds he was underwater. I got up, had them tell everyone to get out of the water, it was an emergency, the girls were crying, I took off down the long dock, flew off the dock and hit the water and swam 4 tarzan crawl strokes, and he came back up. He was just testing me. The rest of the group were upset at him, he ended up apologizing to all of us. I was WSI certified at the time. So, it was brought up by the chaplain the next morning at breafast, and standing ovation I got. I didn't even have to save him.

7. Have you ever climbed to a Nation's High point?

nope. Hiked to the top of Castle Rock. only 100' up.

8. Have you ever been to a Nation's low point?

yep, during the carter and obaMao presidencies.

9. Have you ever been in a movie (even as an extra)

nope

10. Have you ever interacted with a serial killer (and naturally lived to tell about it)

you betcha nope.

11. How many US states have you been to?

not all that many.

12. How many countries have you been to?

Canada. Mexico. that's it.

I mean, besides right now.(the high point may come when the BOA is aufed).....I am talking about geographically.

Why "of course not"?  (It did not have to be during his presidency.)...like I said...sort of met one when I was 12.

although, my best friend and I went to see Richard Nixon at an outdoor rally one year some town in Ohio. The scoutmaster we were working with was directing traffic...he had been in Intel in Israel....

we stopped for gas at a gas station, went in to get a coffee..... and passed by a yellow Volkswagon at the other pump.

In the back, laying on the back seat, was a high powered rifle, big scope. Some tall strange looking hippie dude was in the store, we left, parked,

and jogged across a few blocks where we saw the scoutmaster, and we told him, with the license number. He said he'd handle it, got on the radio, someone took his place fast, and he was on the radio running back in that direction.

He would never tell us what resulted. But he thanked us for doing letting them know, and only would say it was important that we did.

1. Have you ever met a President or Vice President (or for my British cousins....the Queen or a PM)? Saw Reagan speak in Cheyenne once.

2. Have you ever won $1000 or more gambling? Be it at a casino, or on the lottery or whatever? $1000 on a deuces wild poker machine in the Ameristar in Black Hawk. Actually threw away a winning deuce on a wild Royal and got back the Quenn of Hearts to fill the Real Royal Flush.

3. Have you ever won a Major Award? Or contest? (and the prize did not have to be a leg lamp) Nope but my daughter has won two national book awards and a national skydiving meet.

4. Have you ever won an Election? At any level. High School Vice President

5. Have you ever won a sports championship, as part of a team or individually? Southeast Asian War Games- 2nd place.  😂 And a city wide racquetball championship-also second place.

6. Have you ever received a Standing Ovation? Stalked a dove with all my A&M buddies watching at the end of the day and got the ovation for a one shot kill under the pressure of their scrutiny. Going back on a dove hunt with those guys 20 years later in about 3 weeks. Learned just yesterday that one of them died the night before last. We're all gettin' up there in age for sure.

7. Have you ever climbed to a Nation's High point? Nope, but I did climb to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico with my son when he was a teen. Spectacular!

8. Have you ever been to a Nation's low point? Drove through Death Valley one summer about 4 years ago on the way from Yosemite to the Grand Canyon.

9. Have you ever been in a movie (even as an extra) Nope, but my son was an extra in a Sandra Bullock movie, Miss Congeniality.

10. Have you ever interacted with a serial killer (and naturally lived to tell about it) I was asked to evaluate a guy in the Kansas state prison for PTSD from Vietnam. My assessment to the prison psychologist who asked me to see him was, "If you ever let this guy out of here you are crazier than he is. You have a sociopath who loved killing in Vietnam and just carried it over."

11. How many US states have you been to? Only ones I have not been to are Oregon, N. Dakota, Wisc. and Minn.

12. How many countries have you been to? USA, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize, Venezuela, Cuba, Aruba, Bermuda, UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Azores, Japan and Vietnam. But as James Garner said in the movie Support Your Local Sheriff, "Basically I'm on my way to Australia." It's on the bucket list. My favorite place excluding living in Venezuela had to be Spain. It helps to have rusty Spanish that people were more than happy to help me with as I got better with it day by day while old neurons were waking up from disuse. I plan to some day visit Nero in eastern Spain. He lives relatively near Rioja country. Maybe he can locate a nursing home there for me some day that has wine region tours on their calendar of activities.😁
