Answers

1. The Superdome in New Orleans has hosted the most Super Bowls, what stadia are second in this category (not cities, but stadiums).

There is a tie between the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena and the Orange Bowl, Miami with 5 each

 

2. Who is the only player to ever play for 3 consecutive SB winning teams?

Ken Norton Jr.. 1992-93 with Cowboys, 1994 with 49ers

 

3. Who is the only player ever to play for 5 consecutive losing SB teams?

Gale Gilbert, backup QB on the Bills 4 SB losses and then was with the Chargers when they lost

 

4. What are the only teams to lose the Super Bowl one year but come back the next year to win it?

The 1970 Cowboys lost to the Colts then came back in '71 to beat the Dolphins. Then those same Dolphins from 1971 came back the next year to win the SB in their "perfect year".

 

5. What team has currently gone the longest without a postseason victory?

That is the Cincinnati Bengals, 18 years

 

6. What team has now gone the longest without winning a division title?

It is the Cleveland Browns, 16 years, (19 if you count the inactive seasons)

 

7. What metropolitan region has won the most professional football championships?

That would be the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area when taking in the Akron Pros and Canton Bulldog titles, as those cities are part of the Cleveland MSA

 

8. What team has had the most players win the Super Bowl MVP award?

The Cowboys, 7 players: Chuck Howley, Roger Staubach, Randy White, Harvey Martin, Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith, Larry Brown

 

9. Not including bands or signers for the deaf, what two people are the only ones to have twice sung the national anthem at the Super Bowl?

Billy Joel and Aaron Neville

 

10. What two players teamed up to score the very first touchdown in NFL playoff history?

Bronko Nagurski and Red Grange. It was a pass from Nagurski and Grange on a flea flicker type play in the 1932 NFL championship game played indoors at Chicago Stadium. Final score of the game was 9-0
