So that plan is working

(Tho his handling of it has legitimately gotten better... It basically had to)

According to the nationwide ABC News / Ipsos study taken March 18-19, 55% of Americans approve of the president's management of COVID-19, compared to 43% who disapprove of his performance. Trump's approval on this issue is nearly reversed from last week when the same pollsters found 43% approved of his handling of the coronavirus while 54% disapproved.

Well after today's disagreement with his own experts right there on the podium, perhaps the fool's rating's will drop again. It's either a failure to comprehend or failure to be accurate. This "gut" charade is fine for the politics of re-election, but has no place in this serious pandemic. He is a fountain of misinformation.

Quite a shit show wasn't it?

If he'd just let the pros like Fauci and Birx handle the pressers and the response with him signing whatever they put in front of him, then he'd be reaping the benefits of rising confidence... but he's not capable of that.

So he takes center stage... tries to handle information that is way out of his experience... and bluff his way though with glad tidings.

It used to be amusing... now... not so much.

Everything is a PR game and he needs to be seen as the hero
