The purposely/accidentally/honestly mistakenly/incompetently inflated numbers regarding all things COVID will go down in history as another one of humanity's greatest mistakes in a long and distinguished list. Flatten the curve so we can ramp up our medical facilities has morphed into hide it out until it's gone.... A false positive is always going to be preferable to a false negative. Tests would be designed to skew that way. With the amount of people being tested this isn't anything earth shattering.
