The Gipper Posted August 11, 2020 Report Share Posted August 11, 2020 Endeavour is a British mystery series that is now being aired on PBS. It is starting its 6th season. This is a Prequel series, set in the 60s, and now into the early 70s to the Inspector Morse series, starring John Thaw that aired between 1987 and 2000 and which, at that airing was a "contemporary" show. The prequel, starring Shaun Evans as still just "Detective Sargent Endeavour Morse" (though NO ONE ever uses his first name.....in fact, in the original 87-00 series his first name was never revealed until like the last season, where it was revealed that he was named after a famous ship). One of our (my wife and I) favourites. (note the homage spelling). Does anyone watch?
