Kind of pointless.

I've never worn anything brown and orange unless it was Browns gear.

As far as I can tell, I don't believe I've ever wore green and yellow, or orange and black, or purple and black either.

kind of interesting to see them on the cusp of the playoffs with what looks like an up and coming strong rookie QB....one that Cleveland might have drafted if they hadn't traded the 14th overall pick to the Texans for Watson.

Pickett - Cheap rookie deal.  Charismatic.  Leader.

Watson - Expensive fully guaranteed conract.  Creepy.  Rusty as hell, and who knows if he shakes it off.  Cost bigtime draft capital.

We are still talking about the same Kenny Pickett, right?

The guy who barely averages 6 yards an attempt? 6 touchdown passes to 9 interceptions?

I'm going to hold off on jumping on that bandwagon. Baker looked ten times better as a QB with an inferior team as a rookie.

Talent-wise, we should have beaten the Jets, Falcons and Saints easily.

The Jets was a bizarre miscommunication and letdown on defense, and special teams.

The Falcons and Saints ran it down our throats.

All three teams wanted it more than we did, and two of those were home games. Win those 3 and we are 10-6 and in the playoffs.

Hopefully lessons were learned for those that will be back next year, coaches and players.

One person I don't want to see back is Joe Woods... He's a cluster fuck at DC. The only time he seems to make changes is when his job is on the line... We need someone whose in it 24/7 and not just when then the chips are down... Paul Depoodesta is another idiot who can be shown the door as well.. He offers nothing to this team... The idea that Shitpantski has to get approval of the weekly game plan by this turd is hilarious on any and all levels... I just can't imagine Paul Brown or Vince Lombardi getting approval from this idiot....

So this was a 10 ?  11 ? 12-5 well maybe not.   For sure a winning team in 2022 lacking what, a steady starting quarterback..... maybe ?   (that will be there in 2023)

GO BROWNS 2023, for real ..... baby !

None of that means squat. Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie season, and he turned out OK.

There have been high profile people such as Joe Thomas, Sean Payton, Ghoulie Always Ghoulie, and others that have said that Pickett was the real deal. That is a bit worrisome when you yearn for the Steelers to have their turn as perennial bottom dwellers.

I like your group of    " high profile people "   nothing but the cream of the NFL experts crop there.

Ok, congrats on getting Mahomes, the best QB in the league.

KC's QB drafting record before him is just as dismal as the Browns. The best KC QBs in my lifetime were all free agents or castoffs....Dawson, Montana, Smith, possibly Trent Green.

Enjoy your team. Don't crap on ours.

This game should determine if Stefanski stays or goes.

Since the Browns rejoined the NFL they have played 8 final games of the seasons against the Steelers.
We are 0-8 in those games, and after each of those losses, the Browns have fired their head coach.

That said, I predict this time the Browns will save Stefanski's job.

The difference is that Pickett has delivered in the clutch. He has delivered more 4th quarter come from behind wins in the last 2 weeks than Baker did his entire career.

Fans frustrate themselves by looking for finality. None of us can circumvent finality other than by a lucky guess.

The poster you replied to was accurate and he commented simply that we have a $230 million QB who doesn't look good right now, and the Steelers have an economical QB who does.

The news stories reaffirm this. Nobody has written an exciting story about Watson as a Brown. Conversely, all the stories about Pickett are positive and promising.

Is that finality? No, however, if I am an owner and I get to pick which wave I am riding, the $230 million one is  kind of uncomfortable right now.
