(AP Photo/Jeff Chiu) CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – The Cleveland Guardians added a pair of pitchers in two separate trades on Thursday. Cleveland acquired right-hander Zak Kent from the Texas Rangers for $250,000 in international bonus pool money. The Guardians also acquired right-hander Peter Strzelecki from the Arizona Diamondbacks for cash considerations. Both players have been added to the team’s 40-man roster. Kent owns a four-year professional record of 9-12 with a 4.07 ERA in 68 games. He was originally selected in the ninth round of the 2019 MLB Draft. Last season, the 26-year old was limited to 40 2/3 innings after suffering a left oblique strain. He went on to make ten starts at Triple-A Round Rock, posting a 3.97 ERA.
