Kosar_For_President
Scary "The old system of international economic cooperation is over. The new system, as of today, has begun," declared British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. He said that the G-20, which includes not only developed nations but fast-growing emerging markets such as China, Brazil and India, would become the "premier economic organization for dealing with economic management around the world." Westside Steve
Well not really scary as the wheels of time turn slowly enough that most of us will be gone by the time the US sinks to "also ran" status. Those still here won't notice the gradual slide. No great empire nor powerfiul nation lasts forever. China? Rome? Greece? Britain? You name it. Still, I suppose most of us would rather live in a golden age of the country's era. WSS
Mr. T
With a global bank, you might as well expect global taxes and global laws. Sovereignty?
Westside Steve
With a global bank, you might as well expect global taxes and global laws. Sovereignty? I guess meant somethinjg before the EU. Worldwide communication will make what we know obsolete. We don't have to like it but it is what it is. "The future. Live it or live with it." Mr. T
I could see us moving to the amero before we would actually be joining up for a global dollar. A lot of people got ripped off when the Euro took over. 1/

Many of us (hoefully not all...) mistakenly think history began fifty years ago. WSS
