I suppose the season will continue, even though it apparently ended this week as Eric "I'll Bench Anyone, Anytime" Mangini has apparently found the one guy on the team that people on the board simply won't tolerate being benched. It's like Pee Wee's Playhouse and the secret word: forcing rookies to a BS camp ten hours away? Hey, technically it was voluntary. Refusing to talk to players? Hey, you don't get talked to until your boss decides it's time. Bringing in castoffs from his one-playoff-run-in-three-years Jets team? Hey, you got to have people who buy into the system. Nonsense fines? Hey, it's all about accountability. Bench Qui...WHAT?! DING DING DING! THIS IS THE WORST HIRE IN THE HISTORY OF ALL TIME! FORGET FIRING HIM, DRAW AND QUARTER HIM!

 

(And no, I don't agree with benching Quinn. He played badly, but...ah, screw it. There's no-one even resembling a QB that can save the team at this point.)
