The Gipper
OK, I see this must be difficult for you all as at least 25 people have viewed this thread and not one person has had the kohones to try to answer. Here are a few hints for you: A. Braylon Edwards is tied for 8th in Browns career TD catches (Gary Collins #1 with 70) B. Braylon is 3rd in Browns career highest yards receiving per game average (Mac Speedie #1 65.1) C. Braylon is 20th in Browns career receptions (Ozzie Newsome #1 662) D. Braylon is tied for 12th in Browns highest yards per catch average (Ray Renfro #1 19.2) E. Finally, Braylon is 12th in Browns career receiving yards. The Gipper
My answer is Jim Brown to all of the above. This was a multiple choice question, how hard could it be to take a chance? Besides, what year did they switch Jim Brown to play Wide Receiver?
PB&J
For the longest single catch, didn't André Davis have a 99 yard TD reception in 2004? Would that not be the longest single catch?
Geech
For the longest single catch, didn't André Davis have a 99 yard TD reception in 2004? Would that not be the longest single catch? Sure, it's the longest catch in Browns history, but not the longest catch by the choices offered. I don't know the answers to those questions, so I'll just guess Gary Collins to all of them. -Al

Would that not be the longest single catch? OK, but Andre Davis was not one of the choices. The question was which one of the ones listed had the longest catch. (Hint: one of the guys on the list DID have a 99 yard catch)

I will say that Collins is the right answer to one, but you have to say which one.

Guest c-dawg
You forgot a category. Which player had the most stupid penalties?
hoorta
Too bad we don't have a category for highest ratio of drops to catchable balls. I'd say Braylon would win that one hands down. Newsome would have to have the lowest- the guy would drop what? One or two passes per year? Northcutt would win the fumbles contest.

I'd say Braylon would win that one hands down. Newsome would have to have the lowest- the guy would drop what? One or two passes per year? Northcutt would win the fumbles contest. Well, figure that Ozzie caught 662 passes in his career, nearly double any other Browns receiver, and only had 3 fumbles. Gary Collins had 70 TDs but only 2 fumbles in his career. Northcutt had 11 fumbles. An inordinate amount for a WR. Here is the list of Browns leading fumblers: 1. Brian Sipe 62 2. Greg Pruitt 59 3. Jim Brown 57 4. Bernie Kosar 46 5. Mike Pruitt 37 6. Tim Couch 37 7. Leroy Kelley 35 8. Otto Graham 35 9. Frank Ryan 32 10. Mike Phipps 31 11. Kevin Mack 30 12. Eric Metcalf 30 13. Leroy Hoard 27 14. Paul McDonald 26 Our most famous fumbler, Ernest Byner, only had 20 in his career.
The Gipper
I have found a site that does keep stats on dropped passes: NFL Leaders: Pass Dropped (Thru Oct. 5, 2009) Rank Player Team Stats 1 Santonio Holmes Pit 5 2t Michael Clayton TB 4 2t Louis Murphy Oak 4 2t Terrell Owens Buf 4 2t Robert Royal Cle 4 6t Cedric Benson Cin 3 6t Laveranues Coles Cin 3 6t Vernon Davis SF 3 6t Julian Edelman NE 3 6t Justin Gage Ten 3 6t James Jones GB 3 6t Mario Manningham NYG 3 6t Randy McMichael StL 3 6t Jordy Nelson GB 3 6t Chad Ochocinco Cin 3 6t Sean Ryan KC 3 6t Steve Smith Car 3 6t Bobby Wade KC 3 6t Roddy White Atl 3 6t Kellen Winslow TB Braylon is not in there, but our boy Robert Royal is right at the top.
