BrownIndian Posted October 12, 2009 Report Share Posted October 12, 2009 If some one had asked the Lions last year if they could have just one ugly win like this and not go 0 - 16 im sure they would have been as excited as possible. But sadly they have the 0 - 16 tag stuck on them forever. We in Cleveland with lesser talent that last years Lions managed to win one game thanks to our defense and special teams. However instead of being happy and just living in the moment what do we do ? moan and bitch about how we suck and this win does not count. Did u seriously think this game was worse than the slaughter fest we faced last year under Ken Dorsey and Bruce Gradkowski ? We won ... The monkey is off or back ... just be happy for that. I actually liked yesterdays game. For the first time since 1999 we found a way to win by using as many faces of our team that we could. Great Special Teams play, Great o-line play (for us), good running, good defense, better coached/more disciplined team ... won while in the midst of making some big offensive adjustments. The offense will just have to catch up.
