Ms California, Not Again

Recommended Posts

To all the media whores that came in here and defended this lady for "standing up for what is right".

First naked pictures and this statement, "I am a Christian, and I am a model. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently, photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be."

Now a sex tape. I wonder if she'll stick to her guns, "Models can make salacious porn videos, as long it's it with the same sex". Is her making of a sex tape mocking her for being Christian? It's funny when Christians use religion as a scape goat.

Why all this anger, K?

What does Susan Boyle have to do with this? Just because she is playing Aunt Bea on the remake of Mayberry RFD?

There is one thing I can't stand - phonies. I don't have to explain Ms. California's plight, but Susan Boyle is a dime a dozen singer made out by Simon Cowell as the savior of music. And Cal loves it, funny shit. Not only that, she f*cked up one of the best Stones songs in history. I can't listen to it the same again. It's like listening to "You Shook Me All Night Long" by Celine Dion.

Im still waiting on those pictures!

Only 2 people hold the rights to the actual video. Vivid (which Carrie the Christian) signed a deal with and TMZ. They are keeping it under wraps because it will be a best seller. And wait and see you will see her pretend like she doesn't want it distributed, yea right. Some Christian.

THESE pics have you all upset? ROF,L !

You are upset maybe, with the one with no flash, where she is naked and in complete darkness, ya ?

Christians are imperfect, fall in love, get carried away with themselves,

it's unfair to say that a Christian was always perfect before they became very

serious about their beliefs.

In the early seventies, a 30-ish popular Catholic priest very popular with a lot of the airpersons at the Air Force Base church coffee houses,

had a birthday. It was on Saturday. He went to a lot of the church retreats as a counselor.

So, on his birthday, three gals wanted to walk off base to his house and surprise him. So, two of us guys went with

them. We knocked on the door, and the girls hid in the shrubbery on the side of the porch. They were going to jump

out and yell "Surprise, Happy Birthday !".

Well, we knocked on the door, he answered, saying he was working on a church retreat presentation...

the girls jumped between us and before he could utter more than "I'll have to..."

the three gals went in through the door and yelled "Surprise, Happy Birthday!"...

and us two guys walked into to a lot of girl laughing, because there he was, drinking a beer, pad and paper

in hand, in a t-shirt, blue striped boxer shorts and socks.

So, he was pretty flustered, but grinning, and quickly excused himself and got dressed.... GGG

Christians are just people. I don't get the anger about that, either, K.

Not necessarily hypocrisy, but just human.

I'm not upset with the photos Cal. I love em, can't wait to see the movie. I have no problem with Christians, used to be one. My Aunt is a Chaplin in the Air Force for the last 30 years. It's cool, it keeps people in check, it's a good thing. I understand they make mistakes, hence confession.

The issue here is SHE was suing because she thought she was being singled out and was fired because of her moral stance on gays and her Christianity. Is it better to make a sex tape (oh she signed a deal with vivid to release the tape), pose nude and lie or be gay? That is the definition of being a hypocrite. The bible says it wrong to be gay. The bible also says it's wrong to make porn, pose nude and lie. So she can pick and choose which things she wants to follow in the bible and then when things don't go her why by NOT following it, she sues, WOW.

I am upset because YOU cheered her on for her moral stance on gays and then when SHE "makes a mistake, like all Christians do" then that is not compared to her stance on gay marriage. You sir are a hypocrite.

p.s. the case was dropped the minute the sex tapes were presented, apparently the judge sees it the same way I do.

You, sir, are a liar, and you reek of cowpie.

My point was, that she was much younger in the pics.

People make mistakes.

The pics were not taken at the same time she voiced her opinion on gays, you ignoramus.

It's like, a bank robber goes to jail, becomes a Christian,

and you will always think of him as a hypocrite because he once robbed a bank.

THAT is the point. Happier now? You get it now?

You are ASSuming that she was a Christian BEFORE the whatever else.

Come on. You get the point.

All sorts of people have become Christians and been forgiven for their sins.

All Christians are sinners.

It doesn't make them hypocritss, necessary. Makes them imperfect.

Boy, you REALLY want to keep your own little started thread goin, eh?

Hmmm. This chick made porn, which is highly immoral. But she chose to judge others based on their own "immoral" sex practices. I see the hypocrisy.

Christians are not supposed to judge. They are mot supposed to be hypocrites either. Matthew 24:51 clearly states that.

It doesn't matter what her faith was at the time of her immoral act. She still did it, and she still is judging others when her own house has glass.

Still missing the point.

There is no judging based on Christian values, til after

you are adopting Chistian values.

The timing means a lot.

Just because one sinned earlier in life, doesn't mean that

later, once you have Christian values, you are not allowed

a newer Christian perspective on that same sin.

Saw Cheech and Chong on Bill O'Reilly (who annoys me greatly with his pompous overtalking of guests).

I think it was Cheech that said he would NOT let his children smoke pot.

Not hypocritical - just a relatively late-coming perspective.

And the part about judging/not judging? Has only to do with judging one's Christainity.

It is only God the Father's judgement that is valid.

No human can be the judge of another's Christianity, or salvation, per entrance to Heaven.

And I'm not even a little bit religious, nor do I go to Church anymore.

Because there are religious people there...

Ok Cal let's take your example here. So she made mistakes, blah, blah, blah, now she is all good and fine, she realized she was a bad sinner (she deserves a spanking from me).

If that is the case Cal, why did she lie about the tapes (6 days ago mind you) and have her people call the guy in said porn tape and ask him to lie. 6 DAYS AGO! So you can sin to cover up another sin?

Your argument in this case is flawed. So you can lie about your transgressions currently as long as you got past said sins?

Bullshit.

No bs. If you sinned, why would you want that used to destroy you in the media?

Denial of previous sin to save oneself in their career? is hardly hypocritical. It's

self-preservation.

With all that is going on, you pick her to dwell on? Who really cares ANYWAY ?

She isn't even on Drudge fer cryin out loud....

I think there is a deeper determination to keep one's silly and not newsworthy thread bouncing like

an electronic ping pong game that is in an infinite loop.
