ATENEARS
Northwestern vs Auburn, January 1st, 11:00am, ESPN Top NFL Draft Prospects for the Outback Bowl: 1. Corey Wootton, DE, Northwestern (Pictured) Wootton is the model of versatility, being able to play in both the 3-4 and 4-3, inside and out. He is still on the mend from a bad knee injury, so the Wildcats used him sparingly. Look for Wootton to use the Outback Bowl to jumpstart his late 2nd round draft stock. 2. Ben Tate, RB, Auburn Tate is a downhill runner ill-suited for a spread offense. His low center and good balance will serve him well in the NFL. Tate should be seleceted in the 3rd or 4th round. Alo
Kafka could be a nice backup QB in a WCO.
ATENEARS
Northwestern looks unprepared for this game. Auburn has made some nice physical plays, but Northwestern seems like they ha no film on Auburn an is very tentitive. What has Northwestern been doing, studying other school subjects or something? Mark O
Kafka could be a nice backup QB in a WCO. The 5 picks with 2 in the end zone remind me a lot of bad DA....
Alo
He only threw 7 picks all year, so 5 today is disappointing. Still, he's a guy worth bringing into camp & seeing if he can make the squad. Scouts have been telling Pat Fitzgerald that Kafka throws better than their #3 QB's. He could be a #3 for a year or two, then move into a #2 job.

Had he thrown 5TDs it wouldn't have made him a 1st rounder, and 5 picks isn't going to squeeze him out of the draft.
