PlayoffsIN09
For what its worth...Denver won 2 of 10 games after the bye, finishing weak. Mangini won 4 of 8, finishing strong. It didn't look good in the beginning. However, he did it his way, bringing in talent along the way and we seen the results in the end. Im hoping he's around next year. But we do need a QB coach and OC.

dencyguy
In addition to th strong finish, one thing that might help Mangini's cause is the fact that he seems to have learned some people skills in the last month of the season. By contrast, McDaniels started by running off Cutler (which might not be a hughe loss, given that Cutler is an overrated douche) and decided he could win with Kyle Orton, then ended the season by running off the only other talented player on offense (Marshall isn't overrated, but he is a douche, and a potentially violent psychopath to boot) not just by benching him, but suggesting that he was soft. But, at least he's not some kind of immature kid or anything... Dennis Sure, it would have probably meant getting cut before the game was over, but you know the vets on the team (who are older than McDaniels) just wanted to pat his head and tell him that everything was going to be aaaaaaaaaall riiiiiiiiight. samoth
McDaniles sat the best player on his team as some sort of power display but it cost his team a potential playoff spot. I don't consider that a good move in the least.
