Athlete is the perfect description for Louis. Louis has very good feet, he has great acceleration, and he is only going to get bigger and stronger in the coming years. He has a nice frame to add weight while maintaining his speed in college. He gets a lot of yards after the catch in high school and should do the same in college. Needs work on his hips getting in and out of his routes and really just his overall route running.

James Louis - College Football Recruiting 2010 - ESPN

This young man can flat out run. He possesses some of the best quickness and acceleration of any receiver in this class and he can be a dangerous weapon in all three phases of the passing game. Louis has adequate size, he is a good leaper and exceptional athlete that can track the deep ball as well as anyone. He is very similar to last year's Andre DeBose, who is now at Florida. Can play inside or outside and gets off the line in the blink of an eye. Gets over the top of defenders in a hurry. He has a good feel for attacking coverage, is very quick in and out of his cuts and shows he can get separation. Eats up cushion and has stop-and-start ability for double moves with a burst off the cut that is rare. Gets into his routes quickly and shows outstanding burst in all his change-of-direction skills. He simply knows how to get open and once he is in space, you had better have 11 bodies running to the football because he possesses the ability to make two and three defenders miss in a small area. This is a guy that will win most footraces once in the open field. His hands are excellent and he has shown the ability to make acrobatic and leaping grabs on balls thrown outside of his catching radius. If he plucks on the move on underneath routes and catches a seam, look out. He catches away from his body, consistently protects the football and does a good job of getting up field immediately. However, this is a player that is not going to be an imposing threat or big red zone weapon. He must physically bulk up so that he does not get out-muscled at the line or versus tight coverage downfield. Overall, Louis can create mismatches and big plays. We expect him to develop into a premier pass-catcher at the next level. Outstanding prospect.

This guy is a 3 star prospect. Harvin was the top player in the country when he came out of Virginia Beach.

Trust me, he isn't a Percy Harvin.

Think what you want dude. He isn't a Percy Harvin.

Your lame act might work some places, but it doesn't work here.

just deal with the fact you dont know what your talking about and move on

funny he's a 3* yet has offers from the best football teams in the countr

its ok you can continue to be 100% clueless and prove you dont know much about recruiting if anything at all

Psst Probowl Center Nick Mangold was a 1* and AJ Hawk was a 3*

oooops

also he's a highly rated 4* not 3*

.3 away from being a 5*

yes he is going to sign

he was going to go to UF a few months ago but they wouldnt accept his commitment

and then after all the urban meyer coaching drama he announced a few days ago he

offically eliminated UF

he is visiting Va Tech and UNC but has already told both coaches its more for his mom who

wanted to see other parts of the country but she still wants him to be a buckeye

he is visiting OSU again on NSD (febuary 3rd) to sign his LOI in the coaches office

he also has been told by Tressel he is going to start at the #4 WR (behind Posey, Sanzenbacher, Washington or Carter) as he think's he's that good and needs to be put on the field

FWIW his Junior year he had 56 catches for 1,128 yards 17 TDs , 10 Ints on Defense and recived over 30 Scholarship offers from D1 schools including UF, Bama, Va Tech, UNC, Oregon, Pitt, WVU, FSU, LSU, UGA, Miami (fl), Penn St, OU, Tenn just to name a few

he missed some games his senior year which means he didnt play enough for scouts to give him that final .3 and give him his 5th star
