  1. Well it definitely didn't work out in 2014 when Jimmy did it... and it was lukewarm at best when Dorsey did it with the #1 overall pick a few years later... so why not? Maybe we can tank for one of the young Ohio State QBs coming down the pike? I can already see it Flugs... PRAYIN' FOR JULIAN SAYIN! or THROWIN' UP A PRAYER FOR TAVIAN ST. CLAIR!
  2. The thing I don't quite get, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that the party line is that the Browns brass wants the QB room to consist of QBs who play the same style, right? But Winston IMO is closer to being Joe Flacco than he is being Deshaun Watson. I don't see Winston running RPO stuff. Am I wrong? Is he more of a running threat than I think?
  3. Ironically enough, Flacco IMO fits Stefanski better than RPO QBs do. I've already heard the "just wait until you see this new offense" noise again... I remember hearing the same thing prior to and during training camp last year, but during the season it just seems like Stefanski and RPO is a round peg/square hole situation. It's one of the reasons I have serious doubts we'll ever see the 2018-2020 Watson here.
  4. Makes me think he was super hot at the time and the Indians had no one behind him worth a poop, so the team he played that night just kept pitching around him?
  5. Giant 6'6" outfielder/first baseman/third baseman who absolutely mauls pitches. Baby Aaron Judge. Holy smokes, the Guardians could actually have some young bats with power soon! https://www.cleveland.com/guardians/2024/05/is-a-georgia-draft-prospect-separating-himself-in-the-race-to-become-guardians-no-1-pick.html
  6. Now we're re-posting the same links Comrade Cal? Bold move, Cotton.
  7. What has to be the most frustrating thing about the Watson trade is that if the Browns had actually had a QB land in their lap like a Joe Burrow or CJ Stroud, this probable swing and a miss blockbuster trade would have never had to be made. Instead, the year we had the #1 overall pick and went shopping for a QB, we ended up with Baker Reagan Mayfield. No team serious about having Super Bowl aspirations is keeping him as their QB long-term. Such a pity. That probably set us back ten years.
  8. Cleveland doesn't get tornadoes you silly goose! So apparently most of the dome would be underground because there is a height restriction due to the airport next door... perfect tornado shelter! (Don't worry about the shards of glass!)
  9. What is the hidden cost of posting links that need you to be a subscriber to read, Comrade Cal?
  10. 🤣 I mean, what #1 overall pick in NFL history couldn't outrun a cop? And could you imagine what the Poliboard boys who all love their Great White Dope Baker would have said if Lamar Jackson had been found to try and run from a cop when getting arrested? Oh my goodness, I believe they would have branded him a thug. We all know what "thug" is MAGA for, don't we? 😉
  11. I think I just might have to make that seafood salad this weekend mjp. Holy smokes, that looks amazing.
  12. Apparently this is the rendering of the new Browns domed stadium in Brookpark. It is... um... interesting.
