All those examples are of powers waging war on foreign soil. It's a little different when they're waging war on YOUR country. It's a bit easier to muster both resources and morale for that. God hasn't shown me much in the way of favoring any of them, either. Except maybe Catholics. They've got a whole city within Rome with golden baubles and original arts by the greatest masters in human history casually strewn about. If we're going on who God favors it's hard to argue against them.
