There's Yinzer fans who still swear Mark Malone was an awesome QB. Vag is prolly one of them.

I don't recall being terribly impressed with the Hawks IOL the couple times I saw them this year.

Another player to add to the film list.

A film breakdown would be nice. They must think he has some decent second level ability along with his versatility.

As we get closer to the Draft, here's some needs and depth issues I see to address in random order:

    1. Defensive Tackle - There's some depth - but I don't see any difference makers.  On top of that, the loss of McDowell to a run defense that gave up 4.2 yards per carry last year shows a need for improvement..

    2. DE/Edge Rusher - We're missing Clowney at this point; and hopefully that's just temporary.  If not, this is definitely an area we have to address.

    3. Center - Right now, we're not even average at this position in a division that usually has some Pro Bowl talent at DT/NT.

    4. Offensive Tackle - Good to have Chris Hubbard back healthy to fill-in for injured starters (like Jack Conklin possibly).  That said, I think there's some talent at this position that could compete with Hubbard for the RT spot.

    5. Linebacker - It would be nice to find someone who could challenge Anthony Walker for his role in this defense.

I welcome your ideas and insights here as well.

Well, we signed a center. Former second rounder. Ethan Pocic agrees to terms with Browns

    Here is his PFF.

Specifically to the bolded, let's not get it twisted. Texas is backwards as hell when it comes to women's rights. I can't find it in a quick search, but at least two of the victims spoke out about how they got the classic "well were you asking for it" speech from the cops in presenting the evidence of their abuse. Injustice is unfortunately a two way street.

I get it's not our decision to put him in a Browns uniform, but it's our decision to not support the team, the organization, and the morally corrupt owners who would even consider allowing this man into the building. I just hope it doesn't come to that, but it's an easy decision for me if it does.

May want to check into the Harris County DA. A poster on another board that practices law there said he wasn't surprised a bit about no grand jury indictment. Not exactly sure what he meant by that, except he mentioned that if he gave details he would likely be banned.

We have similar takes on Harris but that strength and size thing is a biggie for me at the center position. Sometimes you just gotta be a wall and Harris ain’t the kinda wall l would hang a Picasso on. Maybe a Motley Crue poster. But not a framed Motley Crue poster.

Does anyone really frame Motley Crue posters?

I get it, but the argument can be made that being able to kick out and block several guys on one play in this offense is crucial. We don't always run ZBS schematically, but those slow developing designs where Chubb or Hunt (or DJ-Felton) look for the off-tackle cutback take time. One small contact on a backer or box safety on the backside can be the difference between a big gain or not. Tretter was a top 6 caliber center for years and a smart guy, so it may be a bit of a step back. I think we can do worse than Harris and have, but wouldn't be surprised if we draft one as well. Dunn also seems like a viable candidate to press Nick and/or be a swing man. Harris is also better than average in pass pro and communicates well, imo. Like I mentioned earlier, too many folks went by him getting thrust in at guard in 2020 when we had nobody left. He is a pure center all the way and I kind of like that.

As to your Crue take, now I am all confused. Definitely one of the staples of my youth and a band I still crank out a few times a year. Speaking of which, going to give Shout at the Devil a listen before my upcoming meeting. I can't stand Tommy Lee anymore though, way to woke for my britches. And are they the worst of the "used to be good" bands? Anything released by them post 80s was cringeworthy -- Mick ran out of riffs! The only other bands that compete with 'good to suck' is maybe Def Leppard and Aerosmith.

  6. I like Harris, especially in the second level along with his ability to read and execute assignments. Only concern is point of attack strength and size limitations in short yardage. Rats and Puke always seem to have bullish 3/4 NTs that cause size mismatches.

It’s now Mitch’s job to lose. I won’t be surprised if Rudolph doesn’t come out of camp. Hell maybe you guys can trade for him. He and Myles can be buddies. 😉

I wanted to bring in Trubisky to press Mayfield. Not happy about Puke picking him up, he is better than people think imo. Damn good running threat for one, and played on some abysmal Chicago offenses under Nagy. Also, had a really nice preseason last year in Buffalo.

He will extend drives and be a general pain in the ass. Pitt probably has a good idea how they want to use him to leverage his strengths.
