  1. 11? People around here chop holes in the ice and go swimming when it's 11 here...lol
  2. I'm pulling for the pats fans to all get a big gooey cream pie to eat this week!
  3. I've been thinking about that. Doesn't matter who we pick, it'll be the wrong guy. Hopefully, Dorsey will be the guy to break that streak.
  4. Washington preferred whiskey in his. It's all about what YOU like. A sipping booze is a waste to me. You have a lot of overpowering flavors to appreciate a sipping type of rum. IMO anyway.
  5. How about REAL eggnog? Not that swill they sell either. In a blender, 2 farm fresh eggs, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and a teaspoon real vanilla. Blend the daylights outa this then add 2 cups milk. Blend more. Then add at least half an ounce of booze. I use and like Capt Morgan spice rum, premium. You can use any booze you prefer. It's best with 4 ounces of booze but that is entirely up to you. You can also use cream or half and half. I use 2% milk. Good stuff if you like true eggnog. MERRY CHRISTMAS!🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
  6. Most Browns fans around here rely pretty heavily on 151 and Valium for game days
  7. We need a thread for what game day medications it takes to get through.
  8. For the OSU game today it gonna be spiedies, little necks and ice cold beer or C. Ocktails.
  9. Anyone ever eat spiedies? Cubes of chicken, lamb, beef or pork marinated a few days and using skewers toast em on the grill, serve em on a sausage bun. A little spicy mustard and your set.
  10. Years ago when I was brewing beer, we decided to dump an ounce of pot into the boil with the hops. It didn't impart the best of flavor but still had a small but loyal following. The infamous X Beer. For these times and the gloomy games, I may need to recreate that beer. At least it made you smile.
  11. Yep, according to the song. But the margaritas are for the wife. And it does keep with the Buffet theme.
  12. Nothing like a Jimmy Buffet cheese burger, some chips and a Clausen dill pickle with margaritas on a Sunday afternoon.
  13. Ok, I spent a couple years in N Carolina. Boiled peanuts is a big time snack amongst the native Southerners. They have different flavors added to them. Come in jars and taste like beans. Soft and mushy. Haven't had em, seen em or missed them since I've been back.
  14. You might like the brand then. They are bigger in diameter than most crackers but very mild. I mean 12 grain and sesame don't exactly scream seasoning. I just tried the brand recently. Tiger Lilly egg salad on a Breton....good cracker...lol
  15. Here's a good cracker topper. Take a block of Philly cream cheese and mix in a can of crab meat. Not that imitation crap either. Form the cheese and crabmeat into a small log shape on a plate and chill. Then smother it with some good C.ocktail sauce. Try some of that on a Ritz.
