  1. The "real" story about the Cleveland Browns lies in the passion of the fans. Not some stupid NFL movie starring Kevin Costner and Arian Foster, not some Cleveland Browns documentary about a radio host talking about us losing over and over again. It's a story about all of the fans from Cleveland, or who love Cleveland, the relationships, the love of partying and tailgating, and the damn passion we have about our football team to win. And it ends with us winning a superbowl someday. Thanks for sharing your story Z, I've lost close friends but I like to think they've helped made me the man i am today. It looks like Stan helped you become a better man too, and that shows his character and how great of a friend he was.
  2. I only talked to Stan a couple of times via PM, but I have great respect for the person who put together this board. It brings fans of the Browns from all sorts of different walks of life together, and Stan must've had a great passion for Cleveland sports to keep this board up through all the chaos of bad seasons we've had. I deeply appreciate what he did for us Browns fans, and It deeply saddens me that he passed away so young. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, and i'll never for a moment forget what he did for us Browns fans bringing us together. I'd like to believe we crushed the Falcon's today for him.
  3. i usually don't do shoulda coulda woulda, but he was my favorite QB out of the draft class, I wanted him, he was smart with a lightning quick release, and Pettine liked him a lot too. But if Jimmy didn't meddle, we could of had him.
  4. You know, we could've just drafted Jimmy G, instead of taking Manziel, and then we wouldn't be having this conversation.
  5. My respect for Kyrie the man (not kyrie the basketball player) is dropping Kyrie Irving reportedly is not interested in signing an extension with any team at this point. Irving wants out of Cleveland, but with two years left on his contract, he's not willing to sign a long-term deal with whoever trades for him. The Suns still look like the team that will be able to offer the Cavs the most enticing trade package for Irving, but their unwillingness to include Josh Jackson in any deal for Uncle Drew has been a stumbling block in trade talks thus far.
  6. Carmelo Anthony "only wishes to waive his no-trade clause to go to the Rockets" and is unwilling to accept a trade to Cleveland, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post. Once Kyrie Irving requested a trade out of Cleveland, rumors involving Melo and the Cavs began to pick up steam. However, it appears that Anthony still has his heart set on Houston. The issue is the Knicks are not interested in taking back Ryan Anderson as the centerpiece of the package the Rockets are offering. This stalemate may last well into next month, as the Knicks don't have a reason to rush into making an unfavorable trade.
  7. In trade talks with the Wolves, the Cavs have requested a package of Andrew Wiggins and "something of substance" in exchange for Kyrie Irving, according to Darren Wolfson of ESPN. Unsurprisingly, the Wolves are reportedly not interested in giving up Wiggins plus additional pieces to land Irving. Cleveland's demands have been very high since word leaked that Irving had requested a trade. We shall see if the price drops as the Cavs get closer to training camp. As for Wiggins, it appears he is on the verge of signing a five-year, $148 million contract extension with Minnesota.
  8. I doubt minnesota would get rid of teague right after getting him. i think they have a solid squad. I believe Kyrie is mad lebron might stay. If lebron stays, kyrie can't be the face of the team. Kyrie wants to be a westbrook type player. Little does he know, it takes a whole squad to achieve greatness. James Harden and Russell didn't get into the finals for a reason last year.
  9. Minnesota would have to give up Karl Anthony Towns which they won't. They just got Jeff Teague and Butler and they have big contracts. Teague for Irving isn't enough, and they won't flip him right after aquiring him. I doubt the cavs would accept wiggins for kyrie outright. And with wiggins for kyrie would we even improve? I just don't see it happening. I see Kyrie going potentially to the knicks. I doubt we trade them to our second biggest threat (the spurs).
  10. Timberwolves wont trade for him. It's looking like our best bet is to trade shumpert frye and kyrie to the suns and knicks. Knicks trade us Carmelo, Suns give us Bledsoe, We give Shumpert and Frye to the Suns and Kyrie the Knicks might also give us a top pick. James Jones is lebrons boy and works for the suns and bledsoe has the same agent as us.
