  1. Just stop with the holier than thou garbage with Watson. If he cleared by a court of law......then that's it. We as Cleveland fans have rooted for a good number of players in all sports who were by reputation and sometimes court...bad people (Jim Brown, Albert Bell, Kareem Hunt, Josh Gordon.....etc). If you go to The NFL for your morals then grow up.....from the Patriots owner, Indy owner, Tyrek Hill......cheating, doping, rapes, racial disparities, vehicular homicides....Been in the NFL for decades. .I wanna win at all costs. That's professional sports....that's just reality. I ain't boycotting nothing...
  2. Yup..I take him. I don't go to the NFL for my integrity
  3. I'm sorry....dude just did a very selfish move. I understand wanting to retire and retiring because of all those injuries................but don't tell me he had 0 idea pre-draft. Dude is very smart and educated...He knows what a QB means to a team and Jacoby is a back up....Dude could've rehabbed half the season and be welcomed back with open arms and let everyone know this is his last year. Colts fan had every reason to boo.....
  4. When teammates confront you like this...it's not just a molehill. I bet he don't do it again.....
  5. I bet he don't go there anymore.....guys gotta stop enabling this cat like he can't do anything wrong. Someone might sock him...
  6. THIS IS WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT....You have to be completely ignorant of locker rooms not to have seen this coming and I bet he don't open his mouth again about it..... Several Browns players apparently weren't too happy with Baker Mayfield earlier this month after he called out running back Duke Johnson. According to NFL.com, multiple players confronted Mayfield at some point after his comments were made on June 4 and voiced their displeasure. It seems Mayfield's teammates wanted to see the quarterback support Johnson rather than call him out through of the media. Johnson has been demanding a trade since at least April, and although he showed up for mandatory minicamp in early June, he made it clear that he still wants to be traded, which didn't sit well with Mayfield. "That's something that we've been dealing with for a while," Mayfield said on June 4, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "If we have guys that want to be here, they'll show that, they'll voice that. Obviously he's going to handle his stuff how he wants, but you're either on this train or you're not, it's moving. You can get out of the way or you can join us. So it is what it is." Johnson presumably wants to be traded because he doesn't think he has much of a future in Cleveland, where he'll eventually be sitting behind Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. The Browns haven't really shown any interest in trading Johnson though, but that's probably because Hunt is going to be suspended for the first eight games of the season.
  7. As I said.....players' shouldn't talk about other players moves or money.....unless you gonna give him part of your check. It's why Brady, Brees, Rodgers....etc don't do that
  8. I respectfully disagree.....much like responding to entertainment heads that are clearly baiting him, to telling Duke "You are on the team or you're not"......he needs to not go there. 2nd year QB and you didn't have Brady, Rodgers, Brees.....going there and they had ample opportunity.
  9. He got paid well in your opinion. He still has to manage that money for the rest of his life if the statistics ring true Always about money. Mayfield's attitude should stay inside his mouth. No business being some other player's pocket. No way players are okay with that. If I'm being honest..............Baker is talking a lot for a 2nd year. When McNabb and Ben did it it was after years of playoffs and SB appearances. Someone needs to tell him this doesn't end well if he continues...and Dorsey's response is kinda what set it off.
  10. I think Duke has handled it as good as anyone. Don't forget a B shelf life is usually about 3-5 years at most. I don't think the GM nor a 2nd year QB should be speaking on his money. Nor do I think anyone in the locker room is okay with it. Show me when it has ever turned out well?
  11. LOL...ijs.....I saw McNabb and Ben do this to the detriment of the locker room.
  12. Just saw Baker Mayfield speak up on the Duke Johnson situation....basically siding with the FO. How do you guys feel about that?
