I don’t know. I watched Lamar play today. He’s not a QB. All they have to do is keep him contained and make him throw it and they can beat the ratbirds.

They did a good job keeping Gurley contained today. I just hope most of the defense that was out tonight is back next week...

His passing stats are far better than Baker's right now.

  2. First drive looked as expected... Then they were getting stops,  and then once they started giving Titans 1st downs,  it unraveled fast.

Looked unprepared and sloppy.  They don't look markedly better vs a lesser team like nyj,  it's panic time

It's a scheme thing but its extremely hard to stop with a talent like that. People called me crazy for saying I would take Lamar #1 if had Greg Roman as O.C. this is why. Roman has done this with Tyrod Taylor, Colin Kapernick, and resurrected Alex Smith with this offense.

Dolphins might have kicked our ass today.

Ravens would've dropped about that same #of points on us as well. Man,  I had Lamar on my bench too.

    Oh well

Ever do western style ribs like this?  I think they’re just as good but with way more meat to bone. More bang for the buck

Not sure what that is. These are St Louis cut.  I prefer baby backs,  but this is all they had.

Smoked the top one for about 5.5 hours unwrapped,  the two other slabs were 3-2-1 style.

If I'm going bang for buck,  pork butt wins,  but it takes forever

    2. Which positions do your friends favor? Divide and conquer...
    3. Hopefully at least one friend is ex-OL... be sure he pays as much attention to run blocking as he does PassPro.

What are you doing this Saturday? Why don't you mow my lawn?

I feel they are. Hell, if Peppers was still on roster the parallel to Harrison (my 2nd favorite safety in the NFL) would mean I would have to extend the comparison to the secondary as well.   Now I mighteven  go to say that Avery is a better Barr comparison (minus height) than your parallel in mind.  Which I presume was Collins?   To be clear, I'm being specific about the players up front and "some" of the potential new looks we could see.   Sans personnel, you are right - watching what the Panthers defense did 2 years ago would be more revealing  in terms schematic vision as a whole.   However, save for Keuchly, this defense is better (and different) than Carolina at damn near every spot now so player to player I don't see the similarities from then or now between our teams.

Honestly I can't see the similarities between this team and the Cardinals of a year ago...  provided I read that correct?

Jones is a hell of a player and he lines up all over that d front too.         Closest thing we have physically at that spot to Allen would be Chad Thomas.   Save for the fact Allen looks a bit more explosive in his first step and has better hand usage.        I really don't see much in the way of the two respective secondaries matching up minus that they have Peterson and we have a good young Ward.

The Jones family is a badass gene pool. The runt of the litter Jon Jones is the baddest mma fighter on the planet.

Cry me a river when the Cavs were without Love and Kyrie.

    I know what you mean.

I think the Cavs championship is more impressive than any championship MJ or Kobe won. They literally beat the best team in the history of the NBA after a 3-1 deficit. Legendary performance under a rookie head coach.

That really isn't up for debate anymore. Some Bulls fans will put Jordan ahead- but he was the best scorer. And he had as much help, if not more winning all those titles.

And OT- thank God it looks like the Raptors are going to win the NBA title. Kicked the Warriors asses again on their home court.

They're beating the Warriors lite. 2/3 less superstars. But I'm still glad they're winning

LBJ may eventually considered the GOAT, but watching all of the Raptors- Golden State series, it's pretty obvious he's currently not the best player in the NBA anymore. Father time is catching up with him. Yup, he'll pass Kobe in points next year, and barring a crippling injury, Kareem is in sight in total points. Getting into the top 10 in assists on top of that puts him in a category of one.

Problem is- it's always been about LBJ. Lotsa luck 'Bron trying to recruit a guy like Davis or Leonard to play with ya with the Fakers. You're not catching Jordan in Championships.

PS- Karma says Durant doesn't play and Thompson is crippled, fair turnaround for Curry and the All-Star crew when the Cavs were minus Love and Kyree when they lucked into a Championship.

He's certainly the most valuable player in NBA history. Look at the cavs record pre and post LBJ each stint.

The sheer number of minutes and games he's logged is incredible. Imagine if he was able to learn under Dean Smith and Phil Jackson,  or someone like poppovich

Not the best scorer ever,  but I'd argue he's the best all around player in NBA history. He certainly lived up to the expectations.

  10. All the Baker haters are gonna eat their words when he's mvp off the league.

I realize they've gotta wrangle in listeners and all,  but unless he completely shits the bed this season,  #6 is gonna rip it up

Am fairly sure the 'where is OBJ?' will blow back up as Ota's continue Tuesday. Honestly, I quit reading all of them. It's not like Derrick Willies & Breshad Perriman needed weeks with Baker. Baker found them. Hell, Baker never got a chance to throw to Landry or any passes with the one's till the Jets game..please, just stfu media**

Willies and Ratley looked promising. Higgins stays healthy and he should have a great year. Callaway and Njoku should be very good.

    Awwwww yeah. Cannot wait!
