  1. Hey darren... for sign up purposes how 'bout editing your OP: number the picks Label #24 "Cowboys" Label #28 "Bears" Can put "Raiders" in parentheses next to the picks that original owners traded away.
  2. Reminder to pick teams that at least start off back to back to minimize waits for folks offline...
  3. Makes more sense... Guess I had a Senior moment... or as I like to call them, "a Flugel."
  4. Seven fewer yards than Flying J, but double FJ's number of TDs... and Flugs gets the nod??? RECOUNT!!!!
  5. Ah... but if we ratio up to a full 16 games we see: 1019 yards 13 TDs I accept your apology... 😎
  6. Meanwhile back at the thread... We're adding a Defensive QC Coach... https://247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/Article/Browns-hire-Saints-Deuce-Schwartz--128454334/ Here's a summary from the short article of our staff so far... not many slots left to fill. I'd missed the Jim Dray signing... good to see our last blocking TE coming home. Also missed the interesting duty mix for Al Holcomb. "Run game Coord/ LB Coach" is an atypical combo. Ditto Joe Whitt's "Pass game/2ndary" combo... Kinda new fangled stuff there. At least I'm not aware of position coaches splitting time between sides of the ball in the past.
  7. lol... no need for one, my friend. It's not like we don't have a lil "history"...
  8. So was the part you misread... I need better sources... as in "I was mistaken"... not "I need a better source than you". Now... don't you feel silly?
  9. Could do a Browns' QB look... TT: 473 yards with 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions. BM: 3725 yards, with 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Total: 4193 yd 29 TD 16 INT Me: TT- 1020, 5, 2 + BM- 2974, 28, 15 = 3994, 33, 17 ... I'd probably just win again, tho... Don't sell yourself short... us only scoring 275 was pretty "dumb"...
  10. Hey! I won something! Simply did not see Connors coming... or going...
  11. I seem to remember there being more than two questions...
  12. The underlined kinda tilted the playing field there I need better sources... Nothing wrong with this approach, but for me the key will be where Freddie spends his time when the D is on the field. With our young QB at least the first minutes need to be by his side. This is what McVay does with Goff in LA... this is what Hue never did with Kizer. McVay has Wade Phillips... Hue had Williams... Kitch has Wilks. None have (or had) a reason not to be by their QB.
  13. Word was that his OC will call the plays. And you'd be right... After Williams shit-canned the disco-practices total penalties fell from 65 in the first 8 games to 47 in the last 8... that's pushing a 30% drop. Between this move and the Bama DC's move, it sounds like we are lining up potential DC replacements for Wilks (and they for the job at the NFL level), who should get another HC shot in a couple years. If I'm right, then that's some seriously forward-looking succession planning there.
  14. Agree... except I'm getting a different, bottom-line vibe... Far from Dorsey being an "Indian", I get the feeling Dorsey is the one not wanting any over-sized personalities around the FO with whom he has to compete. Further, I've had the feeling that his HC search was akin to Cheney's VP search for "W". That Dorsey's real conclusion was that he was the best choice... but recognized he was not a choice that was available to himself. Just a couple feelings... but we all have to remember that there was a reason KC sent him packing... ... and it sure wasn't his lack of talent recognition.
  15. Kubiak? Strong personality? Wasn't an issue in HOU... more the opposite. Oh, Lordy... Of even more interest, however, was the conflicting point on the Vike's not wanting him back vs. his claim that it was his decision. We have enough of that shit in our daily lives already. So now they need a Minniefield... it's happened before.
  16. You forgot an old washer and dryer... So the #20 ST's coach is now ours... I guess that's an improvement. Tabor is looking good in retrospect.
  17. Pagano? Because the Colts D was so dominant during his HC years there? Because he was the brains behind the Ravens D??? No thanks... Decent article... This guy popped out at me. He has the 'Boy's 2ndary ballin'... Cowboys defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator Kris Richard (Photo: Matthew Emmons, USA TODAY Sports) Cowboys defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator Kris Richard was a third round pick in the 2002 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. After a six year playing career, he joined USC's coaching staff as a graduate assistant. His NFL career began with the Seahawks as assistant defensive backs coach in 2010. He was there eight seasons before being hired to his current role. Richard may want the opportunity to be a full-time defensive coordinator again. Cleveland could offer him that title. Me likee... Country OC for a country HC...
  18. Faced a softened D at the end, but when he was unshackled he did move the team.
  19. Faced 7 DBs... 3 DL and an LB. Why Harbaugh did not go 3 TE and use Dixon mystified me...
  20. Brings to mind his last ditch effort working with a throwing guru... Looked great until he saw live action and totally reverted.
  21. Last NFL 5-2 I remember was when then WSH HC, George Allen, sprung one on a team in a playoff game. Maybe the Bears???? AS for Jackson... the kid is not without arm talent so that's where the Tebow comparison goes off the rails.
  22. Got it... Harbaugh does look to be using LJ like an HC worried about the short term... as in save my job today, please. I think you missed my point on the run game. It was pure shite prior to the bye. Eyeballing the figures in the earlier link, but it looks to have gone from around 90 ypg pre to over 210 post. That's more than just adding LJ's running.... that's adding the threat of him running.
  23. Checked DraftScout for LJ, RG3 and MVick results... none worked out fully at Combine or Pro Days... so no 3-cone or shuttle times to compare "agility". However, all three had 40 times (Low/"Official"/High) hand times as follows: LJ: 40 Low: 4.32 40 Time: 4.42 40 High: 4.52; Height: 6-2 Weight: 216 RG: 40 Low: 4.23 40 Time: 4.33 40 High: 4.44; Height: 6-2 Weight: 223 MV: 40 Low: 4.23 40 Time: 4.33 40 High: 4.44; Height: 6-0 Weight: 210 RG did run at the Combine and posted a typically slower electronic time with splits: 40 Yrd Dash: 4.41 20 Yrd Dash: 2.58 10 Yrd Dash: 1.53
  24. Currently? Yes... no one the is running this Offense with this kind of triggerman to this extent. Look at BLT's run production pre-Bye (Flacco) and post-Bye (Jackson)... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/rav/2018.htm Not sure what you mean by "curious", but I think the above makes the case that BLT run game is due to Jackson. Even Mike Vick in his ATL prime? I'll grant you there aren't many with his combo, e.g., RG3 had the speed, but not the change, but Vick had both... until he didn't.
